On yesterday, he assisted me with determining where my cigarettes fuse were located from the three fuse boxes in an Infiniti. He was very patient and knowledgeable of the exact location. Normally, he is my go-to-person. Although he is young, don’t let the youth fool you. I have seen him assist and direct his colleagues on what to do. He is respected among his colleagues. Mr. Herlam has studied his craft VERY well, takes pride in assisting customers, and gives 100% of himself. The tests came back ok for both the battery and the alternator and Herlam even went ahead and added some protective sealant on the battery. Highly recommended.

What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
