Ms. Regina was soooo helpful & patient with me when she saw my frustration. She went above and beyond to assist me with not only getting the best battery at the best price , but she also was able to figure the exact location of the battery ( which was behind the passenger seat , inside) and I had never seen anything like that . Ms. Regina knew EXACTLY what to do . It was 99 degrees outside & she swapped out the battery all while training a new employee & showing him the best way to do things . I am so grateful for her....GIVE HER A RAISE!!! She took a load off of me.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
