- SJSew JApr 4, 20261.0At this point I'm convinced the staff receive weekly bonus checks based on how many customers they don't service or cause to simply walk out the store. Interestingly, it's not a staffing issue but an absence of leadership. There's a lot of moving and talking but little of that energy is being contributed to moving the customers along. Call it a day if you see one on the phone with a potential customer talking like old friends catching up from high school. They've learned to weaponize incoming calls to evade physical customers in the store. I ponder does the staff take bets on who can be the most elusive when it comes to checking a customer out. I don't doubt those cash registers are in mint condition based on the their lack of use. I think one was still covered in plastic..lol. "sarcasm"

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
