  First time visiting this location for service. The staff was helpful and communicative. I like the location since you have restaurants and other places to go to while waiting on service. The next time I need tires, I will come back here.

  I don’t write reviews often, but this experience at Mr. Tire on Harrison Ave in Cary was frustrating enough that I felt obligated to leave one. I brought my vehicle in for a scheduled appointment for: - Oil change - Wheel alignment - State inspection About two hours after drop-off, I received a call saying the vehicle would not pass inspection because the battery tested extremely low (around 200 wattage hours, while they said most healthy batteries are closer to 700). I already knew the battery was old, so I approved the replacement without issue. What I did not understand at the time was that the inspection and wheel alignment were never going to be completed that day. After roughly 6 hours at the shop, I left with: - Oil change completed - New battery - New windshield wipers - No wheel alignment - No state inspection The original estimate was ~$670. Since the alignment and inspection were never completed, the total was reduced to ~$500. What made the situation disappointing was hearing another mechanic mention: "I don’t know why he didn’t complete it, he could have finished that while it was up on the lift." At that point, the shop was closing, there was no time to finish the work, and there was realistically no way to put the old battery back in. I ended up spending hundreds of dollars, burning most of a PTO day, and still needing to find another shop for a basic state inspection and alignment. To be fair, the customer service folks in the main area were polite, professional, respectful, and understanding throughout the process. They were able to reduce the bill down to ~$340, which isn't much of a consolation, but I'll take it given my circumstances. My disappointment is with how the service was handled by that specific mechanic assigned. Maybe others have had better experiences here with other mechanics, but based on mine, I can’t recommend this location. It's a gamble that I am not willing to make again. Good luck.

  Left vehicle Friday night for a Saturday 9am appointment for a oil and tire rotation didn't finish until 3pm!

  I came in for a tire rotation, my first time at this location. I was greeted with kindness, efficient service, and had a great experience!

  Absolutely disappointed with customer service and quality of work. I had a 07:30 am appointment(1st appointment of the day) and arrived on-time. It took 2 hours before the car was taken back. After another 45 mins, I was informed of the needed repairs and was quoted 2 hours. I needed 4 tires, shocks and an alignment. 4 hours went by - never received a call or any communication with a status of repairs. I called and was informed it would take another 2 hours. 3 hours go by and still nothing, to which I called again and they said they’ll have it done by 6pm (closing). 11 hours for the type of repairs needed is unacceptable without proper clear communication. I had to do all the communication. To add insult to injury, the vehicle came back with the carpeting detached in the trunk and a dent on the passenger side above the door. It doesn’t stop there - the vehicle’s steering wheel was not properly aligned. No apologies, just “I’ll take a look at it tomorrow”. I brought it back the next morning, to which it was not prioritized to fix their incomplete alignment job. I waited another hour before they brought the vehicle back and another hour for them to do the alignment again. Still came back with a crooked steering wheel. I asked for a refund to which I was informed I had to come back the next day for a manager to do it. I returned as instructed and was informed I had to call a number to request a refund and a 1 hr plus hold time. What kind of customer care is that? 11 hours for a 1-3 hour job, failure to correct the error, and multiple hoops to get a refund. I wouldn’t even recommend to buy an air freshener from this place
