- WMWB MECHMay 10, 20263.0Took my car there for an oil change because i didnt feel like doing it myself. They were quick. But they were out of the oil i requested. Told me they had been out for a while and gave me synthetic oil instead, they didnt charge full price for it.. but... they didnt ask me or tell me first. My car had conventional oil in it when i took it in with a quart and a half of blended oil mixed in, and no sticker.. because i do it myself. Service was prompt, but.... you cant just do stuff and then tell the customer afterward. You knew you were out of blended oil. Eeeeeeeekk!

He communicated with me when the system was down , explaining that I had to wait a little bit, said hello, said goodbye. Basic customer service skills . So I wanted to give him praise. I wish I got his name. Everyone else seemed like they didn't want to be bothered. I will sayyyy....... I was quoted one amount, agreed to it , and had them work on my car . I paid and went home. Looking at my receipt, I noticed an extra $10 was added to my check - a “shop fee” that wasn’t mentioned beforehand. I’ve never been charged that at other locations and it was pretty undescriptive. It's $10 so I'm not breaking any balls on it but small, unexpected charges like that can leave a bad impression and ultimately cost a business repeat customers for what should be a straightforward service.
