- APAnita PerezApr 21, 20265.0I went with my teenager daughter to this location at 8:30 pm. She had already been to a couple other places to get a headlight with various outcomes. When she took the bulb to the cash register, Christopher asked if she wanted him to check to make sure the bulb was the correct one. Long story, but he ended up going outside and checking the bulb himself. He went WAY above and beyond what was required to ensure she had the right one. He even installed it for her and made sure it worked properly! All of this was 30 minutes before closing, but neither of the employees in the store at the time made us feel rushed or that we were a bother at all. We definitely recommend this store above all the other auto stores in this area!!!!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
