I was stranded with a completely flat tire Sunday afternoon. Mother's Day Sunday it was!! On short notice Mr. Tire took care of the damage, patched and sealed every leak and within 30 minutes I was back on the road again. And I did not need a new tire! (Or four. All Wheel Drive..) Very professional and honest. Very friendly. Made my Mother's Day! Highly recommend Mr. Tire!

The team was friendly and clear about pricing and labor. I appreciated that. However, I went in to have one tire replaced after a blowout. Soon after they brought in my air filters from the engine and asked if I wanted to replace them. I declined, wondering why they popped the hood in the first place. When I left 4 or 5 different alerts that had not previously been there showed up and my car had lost significant power. At home I discovered the air filters had not been replaced properly, the filter wasn't sealed, the air sensor had been unplugged and not reconnected, I had to spend an hour of my own time undoing something that should not have been messed with to begin with. Don't know if it was a fluke or one time thing but definitely check your vehicle before leaving.

A while back, I received an oil change from this location. Shortly afterward, my drain plug fell out. To their credit, they covered the cost of the tow and repaired my vehicle at no charge, which I appreciated. I normally change my own oil, but as a student I currently do not have all of my tools with me, so I had gone there for service. I recently performed another oil change myself and found that, fortunately, the drain plug threads were not stripped. However, I also discovered that a plastic washer had been used in place of the proper crush washer. This likely explains why the drain plug came loose in the first place. Using a plastic washer in this application demonstrates a concerning lack of knowledge or attention to proper procedure from the technician who serviced my vehicle. A plastic washer does not allow the drain plug to be torqued correctly to specification. I even attempted to torque it myself to verify this and found that it was not possible to achieve the proper ft-lbs specification with the washer that had been installed. I’m honestly shocked it didn’t fall out again given how loose it was.

Tegan, who I think is a manager at this location, is fantastic. She squeezed me into an emergency appointment on short notice, and had the brakes and shocks done for me the same day. Above all, she is professional, knows the details of car tire wear, and has an incredibly friendly, helpful, and warm personality. I hope Mr. Tire recognizes her value and rewards her well financially! Give her a raise! And a promotion. She should train other employees in customer service, company-wide.
