  Boone has 2 locations. I went to one on a Sunday morning and they were slammed. I just needed a nail pulled and tire plugged. They called their other location for me and scheduled me an appointment within the hour. I drove over, had the work done and was on my way within an hour. Super friendly! Great work!

  Very friendly and fast service! I had a tire blow on a road trip. I was able to get the spare on and bring it here. They had me back on the road with a new tire in no time!

  Came in for a routine oil change and break inspection. They refused to work on my car, tried to claim that I was 17,000 miles over due when they had recently changed the oil, told me my engine was shot and my car was essentially totaled. This made no sense as the car is only ten years old and has always received regular maintenance. After getting another opinion, we found out that the engine is completely fine, in perfect shape, and I just needed a new water pipe. So the opposite of totaled. I think they just didn’t want to do the work. If you’re a woman, don’t come here unless you want to be condescendingly spoken to and upsold on completely unnecessary work. I came in with my dad after and had a completely different experience. Note to mechanics: don’t tell someone that their engine is totaled if there is absolutely no proof that there is.

  My last review for this Mr. Tire location was 4 yrs ago, and 5 stars. Today, I noticed a screw in my tire. It's Sunday, so I called to make an appointment. Apparently all calls are routed to a central call center. Although there was a language barrier, an appointment was made. I showed up 20 minutes early. There were zero cars in the bays and two employees working. The lot was a bit unsightly, with multiple used tires piled up adjacent to the store and near the main parking area. I walk in and an employee (most likely the manager) is eating in the office. He tells me between bites that he'll be with me in a minute. I get it. It's Sunday and they were probably just slammed. And it's a big corporation so they're probably underpaid. Anyway, I patiently waited a few minutes until he finished eating. The manager told me to meet him at my car. So I go out to my car. I show him the nail. He keeps studying my tire side walls.. I ask him if he's worried about damaging my wheels. He tells me no, but he's concerned that they are EV rated tires. I assure him they're standard Michelin Cross Climate 2's. He tells me it'll be $32 plus tax. I say fine and help my wife out of the car and go back inside. Now, the same manager guy is on the phone. He's talking to someone, rolling his eyes and getting frustrated that they don't have the proper sizing numbers. The other employee is now slouched on the counter, obviously tired, watching TV. He just looked right past me. The manager went on for another minute or two. I then decided that I just wasn't feeling a good vibe here. I told him thank you, but I was leaving. I know this is 90% a corporate problem. Long hours, low pay, not enough employees, and lack of customer service training. Unfortunately my experience with Mr. Tire on this day was not a good one. I just prefer a bit more professionalism.

  Genuinely the best experience I’ve ever had at a car place, and I’ve had my fair share of car trouble! I always worry going into places like this that I’m going to be taken advantage of when it comes to pricing, but I never once felt that way here. In fact, I felt quite the opposite. I truly felt like they were on my side and genuinely understood my financial situation. They were thoughtful and thorough in their responses and decision-making, and it never felt like they were just trying to make a business transaction. They genuinely wanted to make sure their customers left better off in the long run. Everyone was extremely accommodating, informative, kind, and just genuinely good, down-to-earth people. It’s rare to leave a car repair shop feeling this grateful and blessed, and I’m so thankful I found them. THANK YOU, Mr. Tire in Boone! I appreciate you all so much!
