  Called Enterprise to ask a few questions, they gave me the answers and told me it would be easier to book over the phone. They pulled my profile from previous rentals in other locations and checked my contact information. They told me what was available and how much it would cost for the rental. We set up the rental and when I got a chance to check it, I had an email from the Boone location stating they didn’t have the car and they couldn’t do the shuttle service. I called the booking number again, and they were absolutely confused as it showed that the Boone location DID have the vehicle, and I should have had shuttle service as well. I told the person on the phone that I only got an email, and I was open to any vehicle available. They could not help me any further, but gave me the number for the branch directly and said I would need to call two hours ahead to make sure I confirmed my shuttle appointment. I tried calling the Boone number for THREE hours and kept being on a hold that would hang up after a (fairly long) amount of time. At one point, calling the Boone office put the call onto the booking line, which was a dead end because that person said everything should be fine. Now I have no way to work and I have to find out where to go to get a car, as mine will be at the mechanic for the rest of the week. The email from the Boone office did not list any other vehicles available, nor did it give me a contact number to call them either. This was an unexpected rental requirement, and now has me having other thoughts about renting a vehicle to dive to the coast and back

  I scheduled a car pickup. I checked in online prior to arrival. My final check-in was completed promptly, but 30 minutes later I still had no car. Only after I walked behind the counter and flagged a teammate was the car piulled around front. There were 2 other customers also waiting. I didn’t catch the name of the 2 teammates, but the teammate who checked me in never updated the waiting customers or apologized for the delay. She did not appear to be helping her co-worker move things along.

  Don’t know the reason why you can reserve a rental car days in advance but then when you get there they don’t have any vehicle available??

  The staff here are always professional and efficient, and this particular car was perfect for my trip. It's a small office, but I appreciate their connections to CLT via the Hickory Hop.

  --- No Star---- at all! Not a single star worth!!!! Boone Enterprise gave us a rental car with broken brakes, which we find quite irresponsible. They sent us to the nearest repair shop (Mr. Tire AutoService) to have the car repaired. This took 6 hours. They didn’t give us a replacement car because they didn’t have one. After three hours, Annabell got in touch and gave us a small car (we were downgraded), which wasn’t suitable for the highway. We refused to accept it...We spent another three hours at the repair shop until the car was fixed. Customer service: terrible—they lie to customers and treat them rudely. We would never recommend this place. The other negative reviews match our experience!
