  I recently had the pleasure of visiting Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Boone, as I have done many times in the past. On a recent busy Monday morning while I waited my turn in line, I observed one particular employee who stood out as someone who is exceptional in her customer service skills and the work she was performing. She made such a positive impression that I even remarked to the customer who was standing next to me that this employee was definitely on task and that she should be cloned. The customer agreed with me and added that she was very focused on what she was doing. I soon learned the name of this employee is Annabelle Brown. During my transaction, I found Annabelle to be highly efficient and consistent in the way she assisted and interacted with everyone. Due to my highly positive experience—both during my rental pick up and return—I felt compelled to take this opportunity to share my thoughts about Annabelle. We often hear the bad but not the good, and my review is extremely well deserved for this truly exemplary employee.

  They're really good at "taking" reservations just not good at "keeping" the reservation, which is really the most important part. Search the newest reviews and decide for yourself if you trust them to actually have a vehicle ready for you. We had a reservation and got a call 45 minutes before we were scheduled to pick up (we were already on the way) saying they didn't have a car for us. The one staff person was not the least bit apologetic that our family's plans for the day we're ruined because enterprise has the unethical practice of over booking vehicles. They will reply to this post telling us to contact customer service. We did. They promised to return our call within 30 minutes. They never called back. They don't care about their customers and run away from accountability for failing to honor their reservations. If you need a rental in Boone, I encourage you to reach out to the Toyota dealership in town.

  This Enterprise location is horrible. Rented a car, confirmed the car, checked in....no car. They sold out. I couldn't get to work on time. Instead my husband and my child with different abilities had to drive me. I was late, it messed up my son's schedule which ruined the day for all of us. To make matters worse, they refused to fix the situation. No one answers the phones and customer service is a phone to no where. If you need to rent a car, I highly recommend you call modern Toyota or modern Subaru of Boone. They are reliable and prompt. Update Sunday 10/11/26 The owner responded by sending me to Enterprise customer service. Guess what? I have contacted customer service 9 times at this point. The one time I got through I was told they escalated my concern and would call me back in 20 minutes. It's been 2 full days.

  I wish I could give 0 stars. Don’t book online, apparently online will book 1 car to 10 people. And to reconcile this, the boone office will call you 1 time to let you know you can’t get your car. I drove an hour today to pick up my rental, to not have one, and be told I could come and pickup Monday. I asked why I didn’t receive an email or text since I received 5 of each saying my rental was there. Very poor service and the girl at the front desk didn’t offer to help me reconcile it. She suggested I call around. If you actually want to rent a car I’d probably find somewhere else

  Wanted to pick up a car yesterday @12 (Saturday)and when we got there BEFORE 12 they were closed. Why make the pick-up time at twelve then you CLOSE at 12??? It was us and two other gentlemen who were left without a vehicle. Now we lost a whole day of travel and can only go back on Monday because they’re closed on Sundays. You cannot list online that you close at 12 and then close earlier and not answer the phone or open the door for 3 separate customers who need transportation??? Also when we were phoning the office to inform them we were on the way and the roadwork in Boone was delaying us we had to answer a bunch of questions that took more time than the actual phone call would’ve,had someone just answered the phone.
