  I had a really great experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes. As a female, going into a tire or auto shop can sometimes feel intimidating, but the staff here treated me with respect and took the time to explain everything in a way that I could actually understand without making me feel talked down to. They were patient, honest, and made sure I felt comfortable with the work being done on my vehicle. It’s hard to find places that genuinely make you feel taken care of, and I truly appreciated their professionalism and kindness. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to others!

  My Wife, Catherine, had fantastic experience at the Bolivia Location with help from Jeff and Evan. The waiting area was very nice and she felt extremely comfortable at the location. The team went above and beyond with her tire issue. While we live in Oak Island, will continue to use this location because of the excellent service and professional team!!!

  I had a blow out on the way to work this morning. By the time the tow truck arrived with my car I was already terribly late for work. I had to reschedule 2 of my appointments. The salesman Jeff went back and asked the mechanic if he could squeeze me in. The whole went out of their way to make sure I could be there for the rest of clients. Thank you so much.

  While at Oak Island Beach, I picked up a sheet metal screw in my left front tire. I took the car to the Bolivia, NC Mavis Tire Shop on Hwy 906 about 9:30 am on May 15, 2026. The friendly employees said there would be a long wait. I didn’t want to wait. The Mavis associate was very helpful in suggesting I come back about 1:00 pm. It would be less busy. I returned about 1:20 pm and the guys took my information and got me in and out in a very reasonable time. Being on vacation, the quick service was very much appreciated. I appreciate their professional attitude and excellent customer service. I will seek out Mavis Tire Centers when I need tires or service in the future.   1/10 they only beat Walmarts prices and delivery. Scheduled me at 10 currently waiting over a hr already ask for a eta and they said not sure probably a hour straight up incompetent,look back in the back and they have an open lift lmfao don’t come here unless you got time to burn. Oh and it’s not even a freaking set of tires just two.
