  Blake, Manager explained all the services needed and completed, he showed us the diagnostic results how far out of alignment it was, and explained what was done to put the car back in alignment. He explained the tires and the warranty he never tried to over price or upsale what I needed done. He explained the best option as well as the option that would work and let me make the choice. $400 for two tires alignment and balancing!! Very professional about their work and knowing they done what was best for the customer!

  I was traveling to S.C. from northwest Ohio on Thursday, July 2, when entering an exit ramp near Ashville, hit a big rock and gravel, ruining two tires. After being towed to Mavis Tire after business hours, I was there at 8 am on Friday, greeted by very kind employees who then told me that even though they could replace the tires, a rim was also ruined and they did not stock it. Emotionally distraught because I was needing to visit my sister in Columbia, S.C. , I met a gem of an employee, Mitchell Isenhour who went far beyond the call and located another tire shop which did carry my rim. In addition, he not only told me they were going to make sure I was safe to travel but also assured me he personally was going to drive his car so that I could follow him to the other business. I have no sense of direction, so his unselfish and exceptional service speaks volumes about both his work ethic and the quality of Mavis Tires. I count myself very blessed to have become acquainted with Mavis Tires and most definitely with Mitchell. I will be forever grateful that he demonstrated outstanding kindness, compassion, and effort to help me. Most grateful, Delores Young

  I was more than 3 hrs away from home traveling alone outside Asheville when my tire indicator light came on. I stopped and checked to find a screw in the tread of one of my tires. It was after 6pm on the eve of a holiday weekend, but Mavis Tires off Tunnel Rd was open! They were 45 min away, but I was able to add enough air to the tire to get me there. My husband had called ahead to let them know I was coming, and they were amazing. As soon as I pulled in, Ron and Mitchell greeted me and assured me they would have me on the road in no time. 20 minutes later, I was ready to go and made it home safely. I am so grateful Mavis was open late and truly appreciate the personal attention they gave me. And my husband appreciates there was somewhere safe I could stop where kind, trustworthy people were ready to help.

  I’ve never been to Mavis before but I desperately needed tires due to a blowout on a road trip and they were the closest big chain tire store that is also in my town so I went to them and I was pleasantly surprised. The prices were really good and the staff at the Asheville NC store was very friendly and professional. They brought me to the back and showed me what might be a problem before they even started but it turned out to not be a problem and everything worked great. When I arrived to the store I had my Travel Trailer Camper hooked to my truck and they were patient while I unhooked it in their parking lot and after they replaced my tires, they told me to take as long as I needed to hook my camper back up. During the hookup process I dropped my glasses and forgot to pick them up and they called me after I left to let me know they found them. That’s some top notch service! I definitely recommend the Asheville NC store and look forward to taking my truck in for tire rotations at my local store to see if they are just as friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Guys! We really appreciate your help and great customer service!

  While traveling, we unfortunately discovered a screw in our tire. Limited options were available with it being a Sunday, but I was able to get ahold of Mavis by phone and made an appointment. I was told that they weren’t busy today and could I be there in less than an hour. We arrived 10 min before our scheduled time. When we checked in at the desk, the employee was very rude and explained that it would be a long time before we are seen. We told him we understood but I tried to clarify that I called and made an appointment and was told that they weren’t busy. He was extremely annoyed and was just trying to push me off instead of trying to communicate. He was rude to the point that we would have left if there was literally any other option (we called around and nobody could get us in for the day). However, the worker that helped us check out when we were fixed up and ready to go was very kind. We were in and out in about 2 hours.
