  My husband and I where greeted with a smile and a handshake by Matt P. He was very informed about the vehicle we where interested in. He explained all the workings of the Wi-Fi and other electronics. Thanks to all his information we left with our new VENUE! Thanks to all the staff.

  After multiple transactions with this dealership, I would advise customers to consider other options. My family have leased one vehicle and purchased another from this location, and these transactions were the highlights of our experience. Overall the sales and finance functions worked as expected, if a little slow. We also had to remind sales of the publicly posted prices and incentives which were eventually honored. Now, the issues. It is almost impossible to get a non-sales related call returned. When turning in the lease the plates were not removed, nor did anyone reach out to correct it. This resulted in a fine from the state and because we couldn't get ahold of anyone to help after multiple attempts, and we were forced to report the plates as lost. We were not provided with a level 2 charger for our lease but were dinged on return for not returning one. We were charged for excess wear and tear despite the fact we paid to have the full coverage. The lease return process took a 3+ hours for a 30 minute process. Consistent sales pitches after servicing for filter and tire replacements in a 2 year lease that did not need it. The car that we purchased was used and did not have a working horn, which likely made it non-street level. We were charged $500+ for the replacement horn once we noticed it did not work. They did not even provide floor mats and the tire replacement system was used and empty. Unfortunately we all have to operate in the world of the dealership model, but this location is not dedicated to their customers. They only care about you if you are actively buying a car. It doesn't matter if you are a repeat customer.

  Warning.. Long review. We went in to the dealership with what was admittedly a very difficult deal. Throughly explained our situation of what we needed to do and our budget. We explained we had been to another dealer in town and after going there for two days and a total of 6 hours they were only able to get within $150 per month of our budget. Was told no problem by mangers and salespeople and assured they would not waste our time or jerk us around unlike other dealerships in this area. Was told with pride many times how transparent they were and did not string people along. Told them many times to both the salesmen and the managers that if we couldn’t do a deal just let us know to please not waste our time. Was shown a vehicle with a window sticker price three times higher than I thought we could afford but was told “Don’t worry. It’s a manager’s special on sale. We would be amazed at what the final price would be. “ ( we were)Almost 4 hours later and a trip to my house for an off site appraisal of one of the trade ins we were presented with an estimate with a vehicle priced higher than the original window sticker and payments four times higher than we had talk about all day and that we had been assured we could get. When we expressed our shock and disbelief in this and our displeasure in being jerked around for four hours the only responses we got were “what’s the problem and that’s the best we can do”. Guess if you have a very simple deal and don’t mind what your payments are Hyundai of Asheville might be a place to buy a car if they are the only dealer left after the apocalypse but otherwise would steer very clear of this dealership.
