  I would not recommend this dealership, especially when dealing with the service department. I appreciate the cooperation to get my Miata looked at, but the price quoted was not the price when I picked up the vehicle. Further, after the diagnosis done by the mechanic, I opted to make the repair at home. After paying over $200 for the diagnostic, it turns out the diagnosis was wrong. This was an expensive lesson and handled poorly by the advisor and management.

  Fields Mazda has taken care of my car the last couple years and they always do a great, clean job. The service team is awesome. Zack really helped me out when I needed my brakes replaced last week. Would definitely recommend Fields to anyone that drives a Mazda!

  I had brought my Mazda here for all work for about 4 or 5 years. Had an issue with my car kept on filling up with water and brought it to them for 4 or 5 hours of testing two separate times. Finally brought it to a water specialist to identify it as the moon roof in about 5 seconds. Paired with their recent lack of expertise they are also pushing a lot of expensive work that you may not actually need. Generally very unsatisfied with the increased prices and for workmanship. Would recommend just taking your car to local shops to support local businesses and to get quality care with deep expertise at cheap prices.

  We had a great experience from the beginning at Fields Mazda. First, we had sold our second car, an older Honda CRV and wanted a newer second car but something different than we have had before. We own a 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid which we absolutely love!!! And after doing our research we decided to buy a 2025 Mazda CX5! When we arrive at Fields Mazda Tyler met us as per our appointment, and all I can say is we had one of the best experiences with a car salesman that we have ever had! Tyler is a young man but boy is he knowledgeable beyond what we expected! He treated us with the utmost respect and answered every question we had! He did everything he could do for us! He is so nice and personable, he made looking at cars fun, I would buy a car from him again in a heartbeat. When it came time to sign the paperwork and pay for the car Dani (Daniella) took over and our excellent experience continued from there! All in all we highly recommend Fields Mazda but definitely ask for Tyler when you go!!!

  We’ve used the Fields Mazda Asheville service department three times, and not one visit has been acceptable. On one visit, my husband waited nearly six hours before being told they couldn’t complete the repair. Two weeks ago, we brought our Mazda in for a recall and were told it could take up to three hours—it took five, with virtually no useful updates. We were repeatedly told their Wi-Fi was causing delays, despite the lobby Wi-Fi working. During that visit, I also asked them to order the underbody plate that had fallen off our vehicle while driving at highway speed and struck the car behind us. Their response was that it was held on by “four tiny screws.” That alone was concerning. They called last week to say the replacement part had arrived, so we made a 7:40 a.m. appointment specifically to have it installed. We arrived on time and had been told when scheduling, the appt should take about 30-45 minutes, although the quoted labor price suddenly changed from the $60 I had been given to $100 by Nicole. I made it very clear that I needed to leave within 30–45 minutes. After sitting for 45 minutes with zero update, I finally approached the service desk and was told the technician had just sent a picture of the missing plate—even though they had already documented it during our previous visit. Then came the unbelievable part, they apparently ordered the wrong part. Mind you, when I called over a week ago to ask about the status of the part I was told that they had ordered the wrong one. But that they would fix it and order the right one. Had I not gone to ask, how much longer would we have been left sitting there? The complete disregard for customers’ time, poor communication, inconsistent pricing, and lack of accountability are unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but three visits showing the same pattern are not a fluke. The service and lack of integrity we have experienced here have been abysmal. I would not recommend Fields Mazda Asheville for service.
