Great service experience as always at Fields. I used the Express Service for an oil change and tire rotation. Daniel, my service advisor, was kind and gracious. He sent me a text so that I could text him back if I had any questions while I waited. Nice touch. Makes it easier to communicate with your advisor. My Jeep was returned to me in a reasonable period of time. My Jeep has always been well cared for by Fields where I purchased it brand new. 😊

We had the best car buying experience when we bought our Jeep Wrangler on 5/5/26!
My wife and I have been searching several months for a new car. We live in Morganton. What we’ve been doing is when we travel to Durham, 2 - 3 times a month, we rent a different vehicle from Enterprise to see what is out there. We rented the following SUVs: VWs, Audis, Toyotas, a Honda, a Volvo and a Mercedes. They were nice and we really liked the Audis, but nothing gave us that OMG moment.
The last week of April a big ole red Rubicon was available, so we said, “Why not?” We. Loved. It. We loved it so much so that we extended our rental x 2 days. The downside was it rode rough and it was loud.
The next few days we heavily researched Jeep Wranglers and I had some questions about the different models and options.
Since we were going to be in Asheville we decided to zip over to Fields Jeep to ask some questions. We had no intention on buying a vehicle.
We went to the lot and Song Yun came out and greeted us. He answered all our questions and he showed us a red Jeep Wrangler Sahara! It was gorgeous! He offered for us to test drive it, and even though we had no intention in buying a Jeep we said sure, what the heck. It gave us the OMG moment! It was instant love. Everything about it was awesome! It drove so smooth and it was fully loaded! Still not intended to buy we went in so Song could run some numbers. Everything was good so we shook on the deal! And one key thing: Song knew his products, there was no sitting in the back googling different things so he could answer our questions.
It was the right model, the right ride, the right color, and the right price, everything. I tried to comp the exact same vehicle at another dealership to help wheel and deal, but I couldn’t. By far Fields was less expensive than anyone else: it was amazing!
After we and Song settled on things on his end we went to Sandy the finance officer to finish the deal. She offered us several different packages and add ons. Things we wanted, she kept. Things we didn’t want she trashed them. There was no pressure to keep anything we didn’t want! That was amazing too! Oh, there was no crazy $2xxx dealer prep or dealer value package add ons either!
Here’s the thing, I sold VWs and Volvos for a couple of years, I hid that fact. I watched everything with a critical eye. When I sold cars I did so honorably, but I know of the tactics, ploys, tricks of the trade and lies that can be told to sell a car. Song and Sandy were honorable.
Our car buying experience was the best. The Jeep is more vehicle than we had hoped it would be at a price that truly was unmatched. It’s not a luxury European vehicle… our bright red Jeep is much, much better!
We are completely in love with our Jeep!
Go see Song at Fields Jeep in Asheville for a great new vehicle shopping experience! You’ll be happy and amazed if you do!

Terrible Experience. I brought our Jeep Wagoneer in for what was an obvious oil sensor problem (said 2 qts low after oil change and extra oil). It took Fields Service 4 days to 'diagnose' the problem, then another 14 days to get car back to me. Multiple excuses: "no codes in vehicle", "start a STAR case", "trying to isolate problem", "part should be here Friday", "they shipped wrong part"...
The service rep responded to texts, but they only showed any contrition when after about 17 days, I initiated a call to express my extreme displeasure.
This was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had with any car. The car was under warranty, so we had no choice. Maybe they kept pushing it back because it was warranty work?
Buyer Beware.

Part 2
The auto start battery was still actively on. He said it can't be helped and has to drain out. But "no issues should occur doing it" I didn't believe him but my hands were definitely tied leaving my only care to them. Finally a few day I gave them a call about my vehicle. Advisor said it's in the shop being looked at now diagnosing it and he will call me back whenever he knows the issue. So i'm patient and wait. I ended up calling him around 4 because they close at 5 he told me it was ready, last minute not communicating with me. I could have gone sooner to help not be the last customer out. The issues he told me was the wiring needed fixed. Thats great... he transferred me to the lender lady asking for my total amount on the car I was borrowing while waiting on my vehicle. I was prepared for our conversation since she has been rude to me since day one. She tells my vehicle is covered by manufacturer warranty up to 4 days. Im happy with joy but she still sounded upset about the great news I got. At this point I don't know what or who hurt her to behavior this way. It must have been the company since their has been a pattern in this awful behavior towards me.
All i've done is give everyone the most respect that I could give about the whole situation and they treat me like trash. Always an attitude, rudeness with her and no sort of care with anyone I've spoked with.
I finally get there and Jax left without waiting I brought the lender car around with and issue during the time having the vehicle. I was in the rainy storm driving it in downtown, the storm was so bad for driving conditions I scraped the passenger side of the fender trying to pull over the road. I was hoping that dealership would understand the circumstance I was in, of course value reaction of the lender lady MARKETTA ROGEARS to freak out and get the Service Manager JEFF WARREN, he was calm and kept his cool. I told him the situation that it was weather related and he said we can talk about the situation we can do. I take my vehicle home the Jeep wrangler and honestly was not satisfied with the vehicle at all, but since I've had such a terrible experience with this company, I went back to my local area in SC to the Dodge of Spartanburg to tell them my situation the next day. They take notice to my vehicle and check that the main battery that I had to replace from Asheville dodge ram needed another replacement and the auto stop battery also needed a replacement because of the damages care of Asheville dodge ram causing me internal damages. Not just that, the wiring that they supposedly fixed was not fixed properly either. Spartanburg of Dodge took care of all of my needs and respected me during the whole process that I've dealt with. Asheville of Dodge ram have given me so much pain of grief during my experience with them. That I've cried to the manager of Spartanburg for helping me fixed my issue I've dealt with for 2 months of purchasing my vehicle. It's been 1 month with no issues and I am very confident about my vehicle now from a real dealership in SC. I was waiting for the service manager JEFF WARREN to call me about the lender vehicle issue I had about the damages. But MARKETTA ROGEarS decided to go ahead on her own and file insurance on me when I had an agreement with Jeff about the vehicle. I was extremely done with this awful lady behavior that I drove right back to the dealership and requested to speck with Jeff in person. I file 2 complaints with MARKETTA ROGEarS and JEX for how awful they have been too me. Jeff told me he was new to this company for 2 weeks now but to retrain them about this event they put me through. I felt like it wasn't enough, but that's not the whole point that I came here as well.
Asheville dodge ram Jeff Warren, you choose to avoid me so i'm writing all of this detailed information to let everyone know to never come here for help in any of the services this stuck up company offers.

It's no surprise they have second rates of one stars.
This is part 1
Straight to the point the following day went to another dealership to fix my vehicle and properly get the job done, Asheville dodge ram cause damages internally to my vehicle and never properly fixed any of my concerns to the very beginning. It was a waste full week with them.
They have treated me awful since day one of dropping off my vehicle. When I call to tell the staff my car won't turn off they didn't do anything so my battery drain requiring me to get a new battery on their end.The right thing they should have done was pay for my new battery that was under their care. I asked my advisor Jex if I could obtain a lender vehicle to take driving from NC to SC because I am local there. He said yes so long I go as soon as possible. So I uber myself to the dealership and asked for the lender vehicle. Apparently everyone was getting back from lunch which was great, they are all well and ready to work again, right? I was lead by service advisor to find the lender lady MARKETTA. She was chitchat with her coworkers which is fine, I get she ready to jump to work in a min. Finally she stop chatting and I greeter her. The most disgusting attitude she gave me from just one casual interaction was awful. I get it, we have moods. But you think after taking a break you would be ready to recharge. I look passed it and asked for the vehicle set for me. She tells me I can't leave the state lines with the vehicle after I was told I could. She calls JEX and yells at him on her personal phone about that was incorrect. I still ended up taking the vehicle and staying in NC for the meantime. The whole process she was giving rude remarks towards me, rushing me out when I'm just trying to understand the process of the lender vehicle. I brought my stuff with me expecting to leave the state so It was difficult getting my items ready like my license and insurance. She kept rolling her eyes and being impatient with me. I still looked passed it and showes respect towards her during this situation. Finally we got up to go see the truck that was getting lender for me but it took me a min to get up because it was so abrupt. She stare me down at the door impatient over less than 1 min she couldn't wait. She showed me a van and I asked what happen to the truck? She specify only this van I can use. We did a walk around and she was still stuck up about the convenience of her job. She left me immediately before I even knew how to turn off the vehicle or get familiar with it.
Later during the day I struggled to find the button but I eventually did.
Once I required a new battery on my end I call in advance to Jex and he said its fine for me to come now to replace the dead one. So I'm on my way with my husband and call Jex that I'm here and switched the battery out. He said okay I'll let the mechanic know. We waited outside in the rain but nothing for 10mins so I walked inside and a person lead me to Jex. I never met him in person so I asked are you Jex? "Yeah" .. were we on the call earlier about my jeep wrangler battery? "Yeah" ... are yall gonna turn off the battery because I don't want it to die again under yall care. "Yeah our head mechanic left for the day" ???? What?????!!!! "He told me to turn it off though" his dead cold silent reaction to a vehicle that needs urge fixing was the worst experience I've had to be in. Wasn't the main objective putting in a new battery to diagnose my vehicle? I'm waiting again outside with my husband to make sure they turn off my vehicle properly and then we see the advisor with no tools in his hands, just staring at my hood. My husband was the one that ended up doing the job turning off the battery but having the auto stop stay on.
