  We needed the use of another car due to a summer month long visit from my granddaughter who works in Europe. The Arden Enterprise rental process is quick and virtually paperless, and I being old school have always been skeptical and a slow adapter of any technology. The Enterprise representatives continually assured me "No Worries". What a pleasure compared to other Rent-A-Car Company's in airport kiosks which I have used many times in the past as I traveled often for my company. They're generally hectic, agitating, and almost hostile. My Enterprise in Arden, NC experience was calm and friendly with a large inventory of clean, well maintained and competitively priced vehicles. Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Arden is now on my contact list.

  AVOID this location at all costs! Horrible customer service and beyond unprofessional all around. I had a rental scheduled for pick-up on July 11, 2026, at noon (the app let me schedule the pick-up for noon), but when I arrived on time (at noon exactly), the location was closed, locked, lights out, etc. I walked around back, and they had a car in the detail area with all four doors open, but no one was around. It appeared that whenever it came time to leave, they just dropped what they were doing and left regardless of their commitment to the customer. Ironically about an hour and a half before my scheduled pick-up time, I received a call from this location telling me that they had to go pick-up the car type that I had reserved (several months in advance) from another location and that they would not be ready for me until around 11:45a. I told them that was not a problem because I had planned to arrive at noon anyway since that was me scheduled reservation time. Their only response to me was, ok that sounds good. There was no mention of "we close at noon, so you might want to get here before then." I made three calls to Enterprise customer service, and they basically told me that the location closes at noon on Saturdays! They were no help to me at all and made no attempt to try and get me into a rental from another location. They only told me that they were escalating my case and that I would be receiving a call from the "regional" manager. Well... this event happened on 7/11/26, and today is 7/31/26, and I'm still waiting on that call. I travel for business on a monthly basis and have been using Enterprise for several years, but this one incident, because of how it was handled (or not handled), is making me consider other options for future travel. AVOID THIS LOCATION!

  Even though I had a paid reservation, I was denied service. I was told they were closed, even though it was 3 minutes before closing and they had customers at the counter. Then I was told they no longer had inventory, when I saw 2 cars exactly what I had booked out in the back. Then he went to proceed and said he was the only one there, it was obvious he was ready to go home and didn't care about helping someone who already had a paid reservation.
