This Safelite AutoGlass is in Apex, NC. It’s next to Roy Electric.
Check-in was easy, and the overall process was much shorter than I expected.
Before the work began, I asked whether I needed to remove my windshield sticker myself. I was told no because it would transfer to the new windshield. The sticker did transfer, but the ink was smudged, and the information on the sticker isn’t visible anymore.
The waiting area could also use some attention. There was a blue bucket on the floor, and the chairs were dirty.
Overall, the service was efficient, but there are definitely opportunities to improve the customer experience.

What a wonderful experience when I drove up dreading the procedure for my car. This has to be the friendliest and happiest place around. They took care of everything from the install. the stickers and made sure everything was done. Promptly started, installed, calibrated, cleaned everything, provided all the documents, etc. What a smooth transaction. So pleased!
I am very disappointed with the service. Before the installation, no one told me that aftermarket glass would be installed. If I had known, I would have chosen OEM (manufacturer) glass instead.
I spoke with my GEICO insurance company, and they confirmed that OEM glass was approved. I believe I should have been informed about my options before the installation. This lack of communication is unacceptable, and I would appreciate a resolution.

I waited two days and at last minute before they should have came out to replace my windshield, they called and said it was a two man job and they didn't have enough people in the field to do my windshield. They suggested I come into their shop instead. I asked why they could someone from shop to help the guy coming out and their only reply was that's not how we work. Auto Glass Now on New Hope Church Road got my windshield and installed same day.

I do not recommend using Safelite. While it’s convenient that they come to you, they do sloppy work. I had two cars glass worked on this week. My son’s back window was replaced because of tint bubbling and the tech broke out the window and left tiny shards of glass all over the place for me to clean. Would have been much easier to clean when the window was out especially since most of it gathered around the third brake light. On my car I had a chip repaired and there was white stuff left all over my windshield, glue left on my windshield in several places that I now have to clean, and my car door was left open all day until later that evening when I went to leave. I was told at the last minute I would need shade for the windshield and my husband came all the way home from work to put up a canopy and accommodate and I was left with a mess to clean. Oh, and I realized after the fact they are significantly more expensive than other glass places. For the money we paid vs the time they spent here, they could have cleaned up after themselves. It’s a part of customer service. Never again.
