  All 3 attendant's were very well mannered and polite, in and out for inspection even tho I threw in a last .I'm request for oil change. Great Job!

  Today I took my vehicle, for the first time, to Strickland Brothers to have it's annual state required inspection. What a wonderful experience with the friendly and attentive team members. I waited briefly in a comfortable area and enjoyed a bottle of water the team provided. I truly appreciate the quick, exceptional service and the professionalism of the entire team. I will be a return customer!!

  Called ahead of time to get quote, got an automated answering machine. Said premium full synthetic oil change started at $97.99. Little more than I paid at my normal place, but this was a more convenient location at the time. I figured being that I have a normal size sedan nothing special that my oil change would be reasonably close to the starting price, so I wasn’t worried. The entire time I was there, which mind you was a minimum of 40 mins, there was one other vehicle. Far from 10 min oil change on a slow day. They offered to check my levels. Said everything was normal, nit that its that big of a deal but my coolant definitely says below min. They also kept asking to check tire pressure, which I kept saying wasn't necessary as my car tells me, and I know how to and have the gauge to check myself. At the end, the total after factoring in a 20% nurses discount somehow came out to $114.72. Oil change was 97.99 base rate. Had a $12.09 charge for “engine oil drain and change”. I thought that was always included in an oil change. I guess my car has 6.1qts of oil and they only cover 5 here, but I have not seen that anywhere else I have gone. I also was charged $7.00 for engine oil filter remove & replace. Once again every other place has included that in base pricing. There was also a standard $4.99 supply fee and $5.00 oil inflation charge. Those are for the time being are standard across oil changes which should be included in the starting from price on the automated system, because with those charges it is impossible to only be charged $97.99 for an oil change. I am aware that these are small things but there were so many small things that they became a big deal in my opinion. I am understanding that oil changes can take time, but if it is advertised 10 mins and there are several workers there and only two cars, it should atleast be under 30. As for the price, when I was informed about the nurse deal of 20% it was disappointing to go from thinking it would definitely be like $80 to hearing $114. As a young person with limited rainy day funds adding in numerous surprise charges is disappointing. I was excited to find a convenient w, but will definitely continue just going to my normal place and saving $25 bucks.
