Motor Vehicle Division Headquarters

MVD Headquarters ensures the proper issuance of credentials and vehicle titles, registration, and license plates across the state of Montana. There are customer service windows at headquarters to assist with certain services. The DSB Customer Service Windows assist customers with driver record requests, driver licenses return to HQ, suspensions, revocations, reinstatements, disability placards, etc. The VSB Customer Service windows handle titling issues and other special considerations. Most titling and all registration and license plate transactions take place at your local County Treasurer Motor Vehicle Office. (Windows stop processing transactions at 4:30 pm, but are open for questions and paperwork)
