  While vacationing in the area,our truck needed immediate service. Since we wouldn't be able to get a ride to Enterprise from the dealership until early evening I called to make the reservation. I specifically asked to pick up the car at Great Falls airport and offered to pay with my debit card while on the phone. I was told that I would need to make my payment at the desk when I picked up the car. We get a ride to the airport and I discover that the reservation was actually made at a different location in GF. Fortunately we were able to get across town before that location closed, but just barely. I go inside to pay the $600+ bill with my debit/credit card and was informed that since I was not a resident of MT I had to use a credit card. I don't have a credit card with that much available! Why was I not told this when I made the reservation? And why wasn't the car pick up at the airport? After some quick thinking I transferred the necessary funds from my bank account to a credit card and was able to pay for the rental. The entire time the guy behind the counter is supposedly waiting on me, he's also telling the other employees to start closing up. Not much customer service displayed. I finally get the key to the Versa and I can barely see out of the windshield. The car had California plates and I'm pretty sure it had every bug between CA and MT. The inside of the windshield was also dirty and sticky. Another example of no customer service. I was originally going to only give 3 stars to this review but I received a call from a young lady from Enterprise to make sure my rental experience went smoothly. I explained the problems I encountered with the phone call to make my reservation as well as the rediculous rule that they won't accept payment from a debit card if you live out of state. I'm sorry I can't remember the woman's name, but she understands good customer service. She listened to what I had to say. She expressed genuine empathy and apologized. She then surprised me by offering a discount for the inconveniences I encountered. She also said she would have a talk with her detail team. Thank you for your customer service! 😁 BTW - the clerk at the airport Enterprise informed me that the only way I could have used my debit card at that location if I could show her a return flight ticket! 🤦 Why on Earth would I be picking up a car from her for me to drive right now AND be flying into GF airport at the same time?!? SMH

  The car was very clean. The customer service was exceptional. I had a great experience with Enterprise car rental.

  Document, document, document your vehicle when you take possession of it. The vehicle that I was given had a side door dent. The Enterprise employee told me not to worry about it. Thank God I took a picture of it because 73 days later I got an email claiming that I caused that damage along with a bill for over $2,000.
