Nice people and I’m sure they did a great job, BUT a 45 minute to an hour service is too long. I prefer the 15 minute or less oil change. $140 for an oil change is WAY too high. Fortunately I found a coupon to make it $100.

I am updating my previous review because additional issues occurred after I originally posted it. I brought my 2019 Toyota Camry XLE to Midas in Tupelo for a brake replacement. I scheduled a 9:00 AM appointment because I had a wedding to attend later that day and expected my vehicle to be completed in a reasonable amount of time. Instead, it took nearly 8 hours before I finally had my keys back. Because of this delay, I missed a large portion of the wedding. What frustrated me even more was the lack of honesty regarding the status of my vehicle. When I called for an update, I was told my car had already been lowered and was about to be test-driven. When I arrived about 20 minutes later, the technician told me it had not even been lowered yet and was still being worked on. I was given inaccurate information and felt misled. After finally leaving, I turned my air conditioner on high and immediately noticed a loud buzzing and humming vibration noise that had never been there before. Since I only authorized brake work, I called and asked why my A/C suddenly sounded different. At first I was told nothing had been touched. Later I was told it may have been debris or something involving the cabin air filter area. My concern is simple: I never gave anyone permission to inspect, remove, or alter my cabin air filter. I came in for brakes only. Because the issue happened on Saturday, I was told to return Monday morning when they reopened. That meant I had to miss work Monday morning to bring the vehicle back, causing me to lose even more time and money after already paying a substantial amount for the brake service. When they inspected it Monday, I was told the filter had not been installed properly. This confirmed that something had been removed or disturbed during my visit, despite me never authorizing that work. While they corrected the issue, no refund, discount, credit, or meaningful effort was made to compensate me for the inconvenience, lost time, missed work, or the need for a second trip. While waiting on my vehicle the first day, it also appeared that employees were using their phones trying to figure out how to take the vehicle out of service mode and properly operate the electronic parking brake system. Whether that was actually what was happening or not, it certainly did not inspire confidence. At the end of this experience I had: • An almost 8-hour wait despite having a scheduled appointment. • Missed a large portion of a wedding. • Received inaccurate information about the status of my vehicle. • Had an issue created involving my cabin air filter area after a brake service. • Been required to return Monday morning and miss work to have it corrected. • Received no compensation for the inconvenience. I paid professional-shop prices because I wanted convenience and peace of mind. Instead, this process cost me additional time, additional money, and a great deal of frustration. This updated review reflects the full experience, not just the original delay. I cannot recommend this location based on my experience.

Tried to charge me over $3000 to change a blower motor and clear an hvac hose.. I was there for 2 1/2 with a 7:30 apt for a diagnostic. Told me it was. $900 just for the labor on the blower itself…. Not only that said it was an 11hour job 😂 wait what ! I guess they saw a female alone and assumed i would fall for the “upsell” trap. Judging me thinking i was equipped enough to know the mechanical ropes is insulting, just as much as that ridiculous price and time of labor… so if you are a female , no male present or just don’t know anything about cars do not go there because they will rip you off soon as they see you walk in the door

I originally had my transmission and CV axle replaced at the Midas location in Meridianville, AL. Unfortunately, about six months later, while getting an oil change, I was informed that the wrong CV axle had been installed. The axle was pushed in incorrectly, causing transmission fluid to leak from my vehicle. I also discovered that several pieces of the underbody paneling had not been properly reinstalled. Thankfully, District Manager Will Guimarin and Seth Renick at the Tupelo location stepped in and took excellent care of me. While the original location was not willing to cover the cost of the correct replacement part, Will and Seth made sure the issue was resolved. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and had my vehicle repaired within just a couple of hours. I cannot say enough good things about the Tupelo team. They turned a very frustrating situation into a positive experience through their outstanding customer service and commitment to doing the right thing. Because of them, I will continue to use Midas and highly recommend the Tupelo location.

My friend and I came to this establishment to get a tire patched. Overall the patch has held up well even though it cost $51. The 1 star is from what the conpany tried to do. As the patch was getting complete, we were approached about the rear pads needing to be replaced and that they were only measuring 3mm. We declined the additional service and got a quote for the brakes instead. On the quote, the total was over $1000 for rear brake pads and rotors. The company is absolutely taking advantage of people's lack of automotive knowledge by using fear to sell jobs that the vehicles do not need. The inspection happened to miss the fact that the vehicle was over 4,000 miles "overdue" for an oil change according to the sticker on the windshield and was currently sitting at 4% oil life according to the dash. Incase anybody wants to know, the quote came back at over $600 for parts (a set of brake pads and 2 rear rotors) at O'Reilly's, these parts would have been $300. Quote also showed $68 for "shop supplies" absolutely abysmal.
