Very nice and professional. Throughly assessed my vehicle and gave me detailed information. No pressure to buy something immediately but the recommendations are very helpful.

I called. They told me they could get right to my Took him three hours to get to it Then it took him almost 2 hours to diagnose a bag of pressure that should have taken 15 to 30 That is the worst service I have ever experienced I will never use mine again, and I cannot recommend that location at all And I promise you I’m not being a hard person. People need to know how I was treated them.

I was driving from Florida to South Dakota when my AC went out. I had 2 days left to drive, not to mention during the hottest days of the year. I took a chance and came to Midas to see if anything could be done. Everyone was super helpful! They worked super hard to fix my AC that day so I could get back on the road in the morning. They saved me when I thought my drive back to SD was ruined. I can’t recommend Midas enough! So grateful

I am extremely disappointed with my first experience at Midas. I brought my car in for nothing more than a routine oil change. They also offered a free inspection, which I agreed to. The inspection was completed, and I wasn’t informed of any issues before the oil change began. After the oil change, the technician told me they had noticed a dent directly around the oil drain plug before reinstalling it. Despite knowing about the damaged area during their inspection, no one contacted me, explained the potential risk, or asked for my approval before proceeding. Instead, they reinstalled and tightened the drain plug. According to the technician, the oil pan cracked while they were tightening it. Only after the oil pan cracked was I told about the dent they had already discovered. Had I been informed beforehand that there was a risk of cracking the oil pan, I would have expected a discussion about my options instead of finding out only after the damage had occurred. Their solution was an $800 repair bill. They discounted $200 from the labor, but I still had to pay hundreds of dollars for a repair that happened during a routine oil change after they chose to continue without informing me of the risk. What frustrates me most isn’t that there was a dent—it may very well have existed before I arrived. My issue is that they identified a potentially compromised area, decided to proceed anyway, and only informed me after the oil pan failed during their work. Management was not helpful. I was repeatedly told this was an “unforeseen situation,” even though the technician admitted the dent had been noticed before reinstalling the drain plug. When I asked why I wasn’t contacted before they continued, I never received a satisfactory answer. Instead, I was told that “90% of the time, it never gets damaged.” Apparently, if you’re the other 10%, you’re on your own. I escalated my concerns all the way to the CEO of the local franchise, hoping someone at the highest level would acknowledge that this situation could have been handled differently. Instead, he sided with the technicians and offered no meaningful resolution beyond the $200 labor discount. It was incredibly disappointing to see the company’s leadership refuse to take any accountability for the decision to continue working on a known damaged area without first consulting the customer. This entire situation could have been avoided with a simple phone call. If your inspection reveals a condition that could turn a routine oil change into an $800 repair, the customer deserves to know before you proceed—not after the damage is done. I expected transparency, communication, and accountability. Instead, I left feeling like I was paying for the consequences of a decision I was never given the opportunity to make. This was my first visit to this Midas, and it will absolutely be my last. I cannot recommend this location based on my experience.
