  I called Enterprise ahead of time with my fiancé and clearly explained that we are from Florida, currently staying in an RV park, and do not have a permanent residence in Mississippi or Tennessee. The person on the phone told me we were good to come in and start the rental process. They also specifically asked what form of payment we would be using, and I told them a debit card. When I arrived, a different employee refused to rent me a car for the exact reason I had already disclosed, that we are out-of-state with no local residence. They also said we could not pay with a debit card and that a credit card was required. Neither of these restrictions was mentioned during the phone call, even though the person on the phone asked about our payment method. The employee then told us that if we wanted to rent as out-of-state customers, our only option was to go to the airport. That would have been useful information to receive over the phone. I would have just gotten a ride there instead of making a wasted trip to their location. They offered no apology for the inconvenience. If they had simply acknowledged the mistake and apologized, I probably wouldn’t be leaving this review. The complete lack of empathy or ownership over the situation is what made this experience so frustrating. If Enterprise has policies that prevent out-of-state customers from renting, require a credit card only, or redirect people to the airport, those details need to be stated clearly when someone calls. Wasting people’s time and then acting indifferent about it is unacceptable.

  Everyone at this location that interacted with me was very nice. When I dropped my car off at the shop I waited maybe 6 minutes before they arrived to take me to pick up my rental. The driver was super nice and professional. When I got to the location they didn’t have the car I was getting but quickly resolved the problem. Brent/Brett sorry I can’t remember the young man’s name, he was amazing and made sure that I knew everything upfront and didn’t try to pressure me into a vehicle that wouldn’t be covered. He did everything that he was trained to do plus some. The store was packed, and he made sure every person was being taken care of. When I dropped the car off, it was quick And painless. Keep up the great work will definitely be renting more cars.
