- JHJulius Hicks2 days ago1.0Someone needs to come get Charles. I'm told this guy is the manager, and I've had the displeasure of dealing with him three times now, twice over a battery. For everyone’s awareness, my wife stopped by during her lunch break to return a few items. I was on the phone with her during the interaction and heard firsthand how Charles was acting. He seemed pretty comfortable talking sideways to a woman, but funny enough, when I showed up at the store myself, he went quiet real fast. Suddenly, all the condescending behavior, the “we won't do this” attitude, and the endless game of 21 questions magically disappeared. Must be a lot easier to talk down to a woman than it is to keep that same energy when a man walks through the door. I have the interaction recorded, so there's no question about what took place. If this is the kind of customer service your management represents, someone needs to take a closer look at how this location is being run..

- HHHuOct 22, 20241.0Bought a Sylvania D1S bulb for my car. Tried to return the bulb after I found it was damaged. They wouldn’t accept the bulb, told me I should have looked at the package before leaving the store and the general manager called me a liar implying that I was trying to return a previously used bulb in the new bulb’s box so I could get a refund and a new bulb out of the transaction. I’ve got enough money to buy all their bulbs. I don’t need their store or their disrespect. Auto zone is right down the street. I’ll take my business there where I’m a valued customer.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
