  Showed up for a drop and go appointment 30 minutes late. There was 7.5 hours to work on a 3 hour job. I was rudely told I was late and they would not do the job. No offer to reschedule. Not to mention there was 3 workers sitting down and only 2-3 vehicles in the shop at this time. There was still a full day of work. What kind of service is this??

  My wife brought our Nissan Altima to the Safelite in Madison, MS. She had nothing but good things to say about the staff and technician that replaced the windshield. I’ve used them several times in past years and I have been completely satisfied!

  I had an appointment scheduled for today at my home. I am sure glad I did not prepay. The tech failed to show. Gonna use someone else. 5 hours of my day wasted to have contact from whom was to show up claim the windows that was going to be used for the replacement was cracked and he would have to contact the manager and reschedule. I was told he would call back after and never received a call back just to see they rescheduled for a day I was not asked about and a completely different quote with over $100 dollar increase in price. BUYER BEWARE. I may report them to the BBB as well.

  Safelite at Gluckstat, MS replaced the windshield on my DAV handicapped van and have refused to recalibrate it. It has been 3 weeks and no one will return my calls. The van is not safe to drive so it is parked. I will continue to write reviews, even though they are removed, until my vehicle is recalibrated and safe to drive. Looks like I need to elevate this issue.

  I called the Safelite number to get a quote and set up an appointment. The representative asked if I would be filing on my insurance or paying out of pocket. I said paying out of pocket. She asked for my VIN number to get the correct amount on an OEM windshield. She gave me the quote. I went ahead a s scheduled an appointment. Later after speaking to the dealership, they advised against using Safelite due to all the sensors on my vehicle. So I called my insurance claims department to set up a claim/order with the recommended glass repair shop. Only guess what?? Safelite had placed a claim on my vehicle! At NO point did I authorize this. I never gave my insurance information to the Safelite representative. This is very unprofessional. Sounds like they were trying to double dip with my insurance company and me. It should be illegal for any establishment to file a claim with an individual’s insurance without authorization. I am so angry, but the only available phone number is the same national Safelite number, and probably would not be able to speak to the same representative as before. Do not recommend.
