  This was the worst service I've ever experienced at Valvoline. It took over 40 minutes just for an oil change. The lady assisting me was rude, and her colleague, Jacob, was not helpful either. Even though I was the second customer in line, they started servicing another vehicle in the middle, and customers who arrived after me were finished before I was. During my wait, the staff went inside to eat, came back, and were also using their phones instead of focusing on the customers. This made the wait even longer and felt very unprofessional. On top of that, I had already paid through Groupon, but they still asked me to pay again. Overall, the service was disorganized, unprofessional, and frustrating. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

  My son and I went to get an oil change today at the Ridgewood location, and unfortunately, we will not be returning. The employee with the dreadlocks was very rude and unprofessional. My son’s oil light was on, and when we brought the vehicle in, he told my son that he still had another 1,000 miles before the oil needed to be changed. While that may be technically true, we are the type of people who prefer to maintain our vehicles properly and not wait until every last drop of oil is depleted before getting service. We came in requesting an oil change, and that is the service we expected to receive without being talked down to. Customer service matters, and this experience left a very negative impression. We will be taking our business elsewhere in the future.
