  If I could rate negative stars I would. This experience has been the most unprofessional experience we've ever dealt with. We dropped our 2016 Denali off to them for 150 an hour starting at 35 hours. The truck was there for 2 months while we ordered the long block and while waiting for it to be delivered. I called weekly to touch base and makes sure all was good. At the time Memory was the receptionist and Brian was the lead mechanic, the experience was going great while they were there. The mechanic looked the entire truck over saying all was great just needed that long block that nothing else was wrong with the truck. Memory let us know it would be 37 hours instead of 35 which was fine. It was 1400 to start and with the added labor and the long block not coming with 4 items we needed to order the total left over was 5,473.86. Now mind you the truck was already taken apart. We were all in touch on the same page everything was going great. The next week I call to check to see if its almost done since it was a 4 business day job, the owner informs me everyone who worked for him was no longer there they all quit. The price went to 6,100 and when asking why he started just naming random things he added on to the bill with insane pricing. 200 for zip ties, 250 for oil and filters and so on. I refused to pay the 200 for zip ties and told him id bring my own oil and filters which was 102 total. Fast forward 4 months. Yes four months. The truck just got put back together 2 days ago, he couldn't get it to turn over, I asked if they charged the batteries and he said they were going to try that now, he still couldn't get it to start so I bought 2 brand new batteries and brought them over myself. Now the owner is saying our pump is bad and cant start the truck. The truck that was running when we dropped it off is no longer running at all. He wants 5,718 for us to take our truck, our broken, not running truck, that will have to be towed to another mechanic shop. There's still no mechanic there they had to barrow one from a dealer ship, no receptionist its his retired brother who will talk over you and argue with you at every turn ( but knows nothing about trucks, he told me " if it was a chevy i could have it back together " mind you... my truck is a chevy ) The entire process has been so unprofessional and insane. PLEASE avoid this shop. I cant stress enough do not go here for anything. Performance diesel is also 150 an hour just go to them. I wish I had went to anyone else. Read this and don't take it lightly don't come here.

  The company I work for has just recently started using Maverick's. So happy that Gulfport finally has a really good heavy duty shop! It's been a long time! No games, no shady double talk! Will do everything to accommodate what you need!!!! Thanks guys! Going to brag on you every chance I get!!

  Lady in the office was very helpful and super sweet, mechanics did everything in their power and went out of their way to help me get back going I broke down few miles from them with a time sensitive load and they got me fixed and back running within the day, lady in the office even went to grab the parts to speed along the process I highly recommend these guys
