  I will start by saying I spend on average between 500 to 1000 dollars a month at autozone ..im a mechanic and do side jobs . So I went to gulfport location with 2 gallons of valvoline transmission fluid that I was returning that was 71 dollars .The reason for the return was that I and another person both purchased the same thing for there car simple miscommunication. So I went to return them. The product was in perfect unopened not damaged condition . I presented the representative at the register the receipt and they immediately ask do I have the card that I used to purchase this . I said no because I switched banks since the purchase and now have a new card . They proceed to tell me that because I don't have the original card I cant return the items . I explained that I switched banks and they said there is nothing they can do . So I became agitated but calmly told them years back that I ran into a similar situational the manager instead gave me cash . I also have in the past years had this happen at advance auto and they just used whatever card I had there . I'm very disappointed and angry because I'm not a rich man and I work for what I have . That day was the last day I could return it before the 90 day return deadline . So I am raising this to anyone's attention .A person could lose there card or have it stolen and then you could no longer according to this manager return the item you purchased even though you have a receipt in your name under your account with them . Starting yesterday I will no longer do any more business with autozone . The reason is principle and that the manager new I had purchased it as I had the receipt. The attitude I received was as if I was trying to scam them and they did not at all treat me as a valued customer . I never return things so its not as if I am frequently returning things . This month I had unexpected expenses and could have used the money . So for those reason Autozone won't get a dime from me ever again .

  This group rocks Andre went the extra mile to locate and tell them to hold the part, as I needing a whole front engine fan set for my lincoln cause the thing overheated during the worst good Friday I have had in a long time. Got it, put it in, used the recommended second store coolant, got good mil discount, and added another point towards my 20 gift card. You can't beat this to end a thoroughly bad day. Thanks guys!
