  I have been in to the midas store on hwy45N in Columbus, Ms. for various repairs on my car. every time the service has been great ,everyone is polite and professional. by the time I had been in there 3 times,they knew my name

  Been to two of these stores one in Arizona and one was Mississippi store did right by me the second I walked in it was a whole different feeling compared to the other store I was in. They gave me a condenser and a compressor for my air conditioning and installed at the same day I dropped it off

  On April 18, 2026, my husband took my vehicle to Midas on Hwy 45 in Columbus, Mississippi to diagnose an issue with the air conditioning system. After inspecting the vehicle, the technician informed him that the condenser needed to be replaced and quoted an approximate cost of $1,200. He explained that the entire air conditioning system, including the condenser, had already been replaced recently and that a condenser replacement was not likely to be the cause. Despite this, the technician did not perform a more thorough inspection and charged my husband $115 for the assessment. Last week, when my husband had the time to troubleshoot the issue. He identified the problem as a leak coming from a hose connected to the condenser. After replacing the $3 O-ring on the affected connection, the air conditioning began working properly and the issue was resolved. My husband and I contacted Midas July 23, 2026, and spoke with Casey, the manager, to request a refund for the incorrect diagnosis. During our conversation, she was unprofessional and dismissive toward both me and my wife. Although we attempted to explain the circumstances—including the prior replacement of the system—she interrupted us repeatedly and would not allow us to fully discuss the facts. I asked for her name so that I could reference who I spoke with regarding this situation. She initially refused to provide her name, but eventually did and stated she would contact upper management and hung up the phone abruptly on us. This is one of the worst customer service interactions I have ever experienced! I am requesting a refund of the $115 charge related to the incorrect diagnosis and assessment. Midas you need to teach Casey and your other managers how to handle customer complaints with courtesy and good listening skills to ensure proper communication when addressing customer concerns.

  Traveling from Illinois when a flat tire threatened to derail our trip, we stopped at Midas and couldn't have been more impressed. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with kindness, professionalism, and a genuine sense of urgency. They understood that being stranded far from home is stressful and immediately got to work to help us get back on the road safely. The technicians were knowledgeable, efficient, and took the time to explain what needed to be done without trying to upsell unnecessary services. They had the tire repaired and us back on the road much quicker than we expected. It's refreshing to find a business that values honesty and customer service as much as quality workmanship. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and every employee we spoke with was friendly and respectful. You could tell they take pride in their work and truly care about the people who walk through their doors. When you're traveling, finding a trustworthy repair shop can be a challenge, but this Midas location exceeded every expectation. They turned what could have been a frustrating delay into a positive experience. Thanks to their fast service and professional attitude, we were able to continue our trip with complete confidence. If you're a local or just passing through like we were, I highly recommend this Midas location. Excellent customer service, skilled technicians, fair pricing, and quick turnaround made all the difference. Five stars without hesitation—we're incredibly grateful for the help and would absolutely return if we're ever in the area again.
