I stopped by after a long day, picked up an adult beverage and was informed by the clerk they would not sell it unless they could SCAN my ID card due to "company policy." With the dangers of identity theft, why would I allow a business to scan my drivers license? State and federal law tequire I show ID, I'm good with that, but there is no way Im scanning my REAL ID and letting a gas station have all my digital information.
