  Been here a couple times through the last couple years. Absolutely disappointed. Dirty, no coffee cups old coffee no creamer at 0610 on Monday. Such a shame.

  This Flying J with The new management is clearly doing an awesome job keeping it clean and running smoothly. The best part of stopping here is Tammy— if I remember her name correctly. she is an absolute rockstar! Incredibly friendly, helpful, and always takes great care of drivers. Excellent customer service like hers is hard to find at the pilot flying J. Highly recommend stopping here! I hope flying j pilot start hiring stuff like Tammy. Because most of them are just not professionals at all.

  I had an amazing experience thanks to Dawn at this Flying J! Even though the store was super busy, she stayed positive and went above and beyond. She made sure my cheese pizza was handled without any pork utensils, and even got a fresh one made for me. Her attention to detail really stood out. Honestly, Dawn deserves a raise, she’s a rockstar!

  Stopped here earlier today for a shower. As I and another driver was waiting we noticed we kept getting skipped. Drivers would come in and scan at the register and the guy who cleans the showers would basically take them and tell them which ones to go to. So we continue to look at the paper and the screen at our numbers like holdup?? So the attendant says to me sorry man I have no control of this I’m doing what’s told. So when I lift my head I said huh because I hadn’t said anything to anyone but myself and the other driver noticed how multiple drivers were going directly to the shower and no numbers were on the screen. So he said again man I’m sorry I’m just doing what I was told. I wish I paid more attention to his name because he was wearing his name tag. I was 43 the guy behind me was 44 and three drivers go ahead of us? Can’t use the app glitch bs because the app is down and you have to scan your rewards at the register so once again the manager was placing drivers where she wanted. Long story short most truck stops have inventory out in the open by the shower area and if you look a certain way they put you near showers where they can watch you enter and exit. I’ve seen them do it to all races at all of the big changing truck stops.

  3-Star Review: Flying J Travel Center - Warrenton, MO I always try to give places the benefit of the doubt. I read through the reviews, see what others experienced, and only then drop my two cents. So here we are. Flying J does a great job catering to truckers, which makes total sense. Us gypsy travelers? We're clearly just crashing the party. I scoured the place for anything resembling health food and found... over-processed nuts and seeds. Thrilling. The hot food options were a beautiful symphony of deep-fried everything or highly processed mashed taters and macaroni that looked like they'd been sitting there since the last remodel (more on that in a second). I walked in thinking, "This feels a little below average for a Flying J." Then I read that this location was remodeled just nine months ago. Wow. Bold claim. I would’ve never guessed. The men's bathroom felt like a cramped, slightly sticky maze—impressive given there were three employees behind the counter, three or four hanging out in the waiting area, and one actively "cleaning" in there. Real team effort. On the bright side, the laundry room was spotless and the prices were actually great. So if you need clean socks more than edible vegetables, you're golden. The store prices felt a bit steep for my frugal (some might say cheap) blood, but hey, maybe that's just how economics works in Warrenton. I'm no expert. I just know that when I frequent Flying J locations across the country, this one didn't exactly scream "we passed the savings on to you." Look, I'm not here to beat the place up. I genuinely love Flying J stops and stop at them all the time. This one was clearly a purchase-and-remodel job rather than a shiny new build, so they probably did the best they could with what they had. At least there's a truck stop in this somewhat remote spot so we don't all have to forage in the woods like actual gypsies. Would I stop again? Probably. Would I be excited about it? ...Let's just say the laundry room carries a lot of weight here.
