Our 2025 Trailblazer was only ours for a day when the check engine came on. It is our only vehicle, and it was a weekend.
We sat tight (literally) until Monday morning, when several dealers told us they could get it in for diagnosis in a week or two. That was not an acceptable solution with an unfamiliar vehicle and our long history of caring well for our cars.
Our next call, to Jim Trenary in Union, was nothing short of a plea for help, and it was spectacularly rewarded. Of course, they would be happy to help us, when could we bring it in?
And an hour later, we were welcomed, informed, smiled at, laughed with, and even sharing cell phone radar shots of an impending thunderstorm with the manager of the dealership!
The problem was diagnosed, and while our car was undergoing a two hour repair, we were actually offered a ride home, and a return ride to the dealership where we were given an explanation of the issue, smiles all around for the freshly baked brownies I brought them in thanks, and told ‘of course that’s how they do business’ by everyone from the dealership manager to the repair team, to the office clerk who provided our still-under-warranty, no charge receipt.
It is so wonderful to know there are still people who care so deeply.
We are customers of Jim Trenary for life!
