    Great truck buying experience at Jim Trenary ! Good incentives , helpful sales team , very experienced go to person miss Taylor can make sure everything goes smoothly ! I am happy with my purchase and appreciate the attention to detail that was taken to gain my business here ! I felt important not just like another potential sale

    In general, it was a good experience, until we met with the Finance Manager, Jeff. He had zero personality and it was honestly the worst experience we have ever had with a dealer's finance guy. He just flipped pages and wanted us to sign, no dialog and definitely not friendly. He also made a comment that there was no markup on a service contract, and anyone that has any sense knows that is not true!! I always buy a contract after negotiating the cost, but not with him. In the end, I'm not sure what was up but he should not be part of the customer experience, ever! Taylor Bender however was very good as our salesperson - 5 stars for her!

    I am going to edit my one star review to a 3 star review, due to the service manager Chris called me personally to discuss this particular incident and was extremely apologetic and emphatic to my wait time. I want Mr. Trenary to understand that my review was directed towards the sales manager (Mike not Jim I had the name incorrect) I have no complaints about Katie she was pleasant, kind, and helpful, through out the duration. My review was directed towards how management especially Mike handled the situation, basically passing the buck and blaming the new girl who has only been there a week, while talking walked with me led me to the door and opened the door for me to step outside and leave. He didn’t want to take the time to hear me which is all I needed after a 3 hour wait, instead he shifted blame and led me out the door still feeling unheard and frustrated! Actually that is a weak style of management in my opinion. I purchased a brand-new vehicle from Jim Trenary Chevrolet along with a very expensive warranty package-about a third of the cost of the vehicle-which includes free oil changes at their dealership. I scheduled a 10:30 AM appointment for an oil change and was checked in by Katie, who was friendly and helpful. She mentioned I had a recall and said it would not take long and could be done at the same time. After waiting an hour and a half, I checked in again and was told it would be 20 more minutes. Instead, it took over an hour after that before I finally got my keys-a total of more than 3 hours for a simple oil change. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told to talk to the sales manager, Jim. I was then told to sit and wait again. After already being there for 3 hours, I said he could call me instead. Only then did Jim step out. I explained the situation, including that I was told over the phone the appointment would take about an hour. Instead of addressing the real issue, Jim immediately shifted blame onto Katie-who had been nothing but kind and professional. Katie was not the mechanic, so I don’t understand why Katie was even brought up by the sales manager Jim…. Also because of this delay, I had to reschedule a doctors appointment I had scheduled today because of the length of time I had been at Jim Trenary waiting for my oil change. She is a brand-new employee, and it was disappointing to see management pass the blame to someone who wasn't responsible. Overall, the experience was frustrating, poorly managed, and far from what I expected after purchasing a new vehicle and an expensive warranty package. I hope they improve their communication, scheduling, and accountability.

    Joel made the experience of buying the vehicle quick, easy and enjoyable. Joel was also very kind, explained things thoroughly and answered any questions we had. Definitely recommend him for anyone planning on looking for/buying a vehicle through Jim Trenary of Union!

    To start off with, I will mention the Best first... Taylor was great and very helpful. She is the best representative in the entire company and she alone deserves 10 Stars.... However, the Manager is Horrible. A part that was known bad when I purchased it, was ordered and when I went to have it installed, the manager came out and rudely said that they were not going to support / Fix my Vehicle... STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.. Where the sales staff (Particulally Taylor) is great, the Manager that came out to meet me was Very Arrogant and does not support the product he sales. I was barely out of the vehicle before he was running out to me to tell me that he was not going to do the work that the parts have already been received for and appointment setup to get the work completed, and he runs out to meet me telling me that they would not do the work. This review is 1 star strickly because of the Manager and no reflection on the Sales Staff). Again, Taylor is a great representative of the Company, but like many companies... A Bad General Manager like the one they currently have makes this location 100% worthless and I do not deal with people like that... Treat it like the song.... "RUN BOY RUN"... But run in the other direction! I certainly never have seen a manager act like this in my entire life and I have seen some bad managers ini the past. If they change their stance on this, I will update accordingly... But as it stands right now they have 1 Star only because I cannot add a review with Zero or Negative Stars.... Note: No Bad Reference to Taylor. She did a great Job... All this Bad stuff lands straignt on the Manager and no one Else... As Noted... "RUN BOY RUN"!
