  I previously had my oil changed, and my car was overfilled by at least a quart if not more as the tech at this location mentioned. I drove on this for 2000 miles unknowingly. After I checked the oil and found out I went to this location and spoke with corporate before I came in. Corporate told me that there would be a courtesy change of oil due to this and that I wouldn’t have to pay anything due to their error and my time that I had to take to come back and wait an hour in line. Then the manager of this location denied my request annd only drained the oil When I had about 1000 left until my change. When I expressed my frustration about the situation, the manager simply WALKED AWAY and did not care whatsoever. Even If I wasn’t going to get the oil change this Manager handled the situation very poor And I surely hope he doesn’t treat any other customers like this and set this example for his techs. The tech himself that helped me was very nice and helpful, I wish I remembered his name. If I Could leave a zero star I would. For the possibility of damage to my car, the time it took to come back and wait to get the situation fixed and the poor customer service. I have never left a one star review before but this location absolutely deserves it. VERY disappointed…

  Very polite. First oil change with pre owned truck. Apparently the drain plug was torqued on 🤦‍♂️. They didn’t just send me on my way. They got it off and replaced the drain plug. Of course, the oil change took 4x longer than they expected but they didn’t give up. I really appreciate that. It confirms my confidence in Valvoline. Thank you guys.

  The first person to greet me was friendly and let me know how much time until I'd be in the bay area. They were quick and kept me informed while they performed their tasks. They actually showed me my air filter and said it did not need replacing! That was refreshing as it never seems to happen that way.

  I came in for a routine oil change on my semi new car 2022 Honda HRV. I was charged for a oil change even though they were unable to change the oil filter. They were unable to change the oil filter due to the valvoline employee using power tools to remove skid plate screws. Which when I went to honda they told me that power tools should never be used to remove skid plate screws and that a simple screw driver should be used to avoid damage. Valvoline manager informed me that one of my screws were stripped on skid plate and that they could not get to the oil filter. But because my oil had already been drained they took ten dollars off and charged me for a oil change. I feel like the employee stripped the screw while trying to get the skid plate off and that I should not have been charged for the oil change. I had to take the car to the dealership and they fixed the stripped screw and changed my oil again within a few days of getting it changed at valvoline. I have been coming to valvoline for over 20 years but I wont be anymore until this is resolved. I should not have get my oil changed right after getting my oil changed and have to pay to get my car fixed. I have receipts from honda and valvoline.
