  Ive rented from various Enterprise locations, and this was the worst experience. I made an online reservation for 6 pm pickup. Because of rush hour I got there at 6:09 and the doors were locked. Why allow clients to sign up for 6:00 pickup if you lock the doors at 6:00 sharp? And i had a reservation and someone called that morning to confirm i was still planning on coming. They knew I was coming and still locked the doors at 6 sharp. I could see workers at the counter, I had to knock three times to be let in. If the workers know someone is coming at 6 and lock the doors at 6 sharp and see a guy knocking to come in at 6:09 and dont bother coming to help until he knocked a third time, that shows a greater concern about getting home than client service. I finally got help but the vehicle obviously hadn't been washed. The exterior was dirty and i had to clean off the windshield at a gas station, the back seat had shoe scuff marks and sand. The gas tank was 1/4 full. It hadnt been prepped at all to be rented out, despite the fact there was a reservation on it. Ive been to Enterprise multiple times at other locations. I feel like this particular crew just didnt care, and I hope it isnt indicative of the regular operation of the location

  Enterprise has the rental car business figured out: hire great and enthusiastic young talent, train at a fast pace, and promote all of the “keepers” fast. Easy check-in process, fast turnaround, and no headaches.
