  We booked a luxury SUV a month in advance because we needed the extra space for our family and wanted to lock in a better rate before a holiday weekend, knowing vehicle availability would be limited. When we arrived at our scheduled pickup time, we were told they had no vehicles available that met our reservation. We were informed that the only vehicle that would have worked was in the service shop. No one bothered to call or notify us ahead of time, even though they clearly knew they couldn’t fulfill our reservation. To make matters worse, they couldn’t find any comparable vehicles at other locations, offer any kind of accommodation, or provide compensation for the inconvenience. We were leaving that same day for a 13-hour drive and were left scrambling at the last minute. As a result, we had no choice but to pay nearly double our original reservation cost just to get a vehicle that met our needs. We were also told that a corporate manager would be involved, yet we never received any communication or follow-up. This was an extremely frustrating and unacceptable customer service experience. Reserving a vehicle a month in advance should actually mean something. Instead, our reservation was worthless, and we were left to deal with the consequences. This location needs to be held accountable so other customers don’t have to go through the same situation. Also I’ll note, they never called us prior to closing to apologize and let us know to cancel and be refunded our vehicle protection plan. Unreal.

  Rented a mini van about a month in advance. Called a week ahead of pickup to clarify which brand/type of mini van it would be, and to specify that I needed both the 2nd and 3rd row seats to stow for what I was transporting. They said they would make note of that and have one that met those specifications. Morning of pickup, 45 minutes before I'm scheduled to get the van, they call me to say they only have one van at the location, which arrived that morning, and the 2nd row doesn't stow, so will that still be okay? I say no, and they offer a different, smaller vehicle instead, which doesn't have the same space in back, so that also will not work. They basically have no solution, and no other mini van at any other location that I can get instead. Totally screwed me over right before a business road trip. Had to cancel and switch to Uhaul which costed me over $100 more, and I was just lucky they had a van available within 30 min notice so I could still get on the road at the scheduled time for the trip. Calling to clarify and verify they'd have what I needed seemingly made no difference. Not reliable if you have specific needs. Look elsewhere.

  I rented a car from the location on Christy in South St Louis. Both when I went in to rent and when I returned the car it was understaffed and they were swamped with phone calls and customers in the lobby. The 2 women there, Elise and Molly, were EXTREMELY professional and handled everyone there with courtesy and respect. It really stood out to me because it’s rare to come across people with that much dedication and patience. I had an exceptional experience because of those 2 ladies.
