The service I recieved at this location was amazing! I had been driving around all day trying to rent a vehicle a day early. This location totally saved me and their friendliness made my day! :)

Reservations mean nothing to Enterprise Rental Car - they'll give your rental car to away on a first come first serve basis! DO NOT RENT FROM ENTERPRISE RENTAL CAR! I reserved on-line two months in advance, a 15 passenger van from the 5718 S. Lindbergh, St. Louis office. To be sure they had the vehicle, I called the day before to confirm my vehicle would be there I waited on hold for over 35 mins to talk to a lady in that South St. Louis County office and she said, " I see your reservation. We have 7 vans on the lot. It will be no problem to pick up your van anytime after 12 noon". My son arrives at 2 PM to pick up the van and Enterprise gave the van away. We asked why? The manager said, "the last van left the lot at 12:35 PM". Why? No direct answer, but the manager insinuated that someone else with "higher priority" took our van. When we asked why didn't Enterprise call our contact number first? No answer from the manager. When we asked if there was any other Van in St. Louis we could pick up the manager said "One van, but it is in for an oil change and won't be ready till 5:30 PM." We told the manager we would only drive a group of physicians less than 100 miles total so can we please have the van now? Manager's answer, "No. It's company policy". Enterprise has a complete disregard for customer service and is callous to screwing their customers. This is a clear sign of systemic decline in a mature company gone bad. My and my company's leasing and car rentals will no longer be with Enterprise.

I wanted to like these guys. I have been a long time Enterprise renter. The team is absolutely friendly. After the last few experiences I will never use them again. Had several issues on a car earlier this year which made the trip up north a nightmare. I had to change out the car I was in twice.
This would have been fine because I was given a discount code for 25% off my last rental - but when I went to return my car, I was told they would call me to close it out as there was a long line. This was supposed to be fine, the employees there knew me from when I picked the car up and I was promised they’d cut the 25%. Not only did I call several times and was told each time they would reach out to complete the closing of the rental, but I never actually got that call to close it out, and my credit card was charged the full amount. All of this is not to mention the car I was given shook the entire 8 hour duration of the highway and was overdue for an oil change.
Can’t wait to get the automated “sorry for this experience” comment back, that surely makes up for everything…

The rental car I received was damaged, after 2 weeks nobody had answered the phone. Pieces missing on the inside of the car, mainly the backseat where there are the attachments for car seats, the covers for those are missing which just made the car look junky. There's a random round piece of plastic in the backseat floor that definitely is a cover for something but I couldn't figure it out. There were hot sauce packets between the front seat drivers side and the middle console. When I picked the car up it was overcast and wet, but there's scratches on the vehicle that I didn't do, so we will see what happens when I take it back. Customer service at that location is ridiculously non existent. This was a rental through my insurance company because my 2023 Malibu was totaled in a hit and run by a driver in Saint Louis City. The car they gave me was was a 2025 Toyota Corolla and was over 2,000 miles overdue for an oil change, which was really annoying because I couldn't read the dash without messing with buttons on the steering wheel so that I could dismiss the oil change message. There are so many "safety features" with the car they gave me that I was constantly fighting for control of the vehicle because it was trying to drive itself which I am not used to at all, which made it difficult and somewhat dangerous to drive. The people working inside are very nice and helpful, but the female who gave me the keys was off-putting to say the least. She told me there's no smoking in their vehicles. I said I didn't smoke like that anyway (I vape occasionally and never in a vehicle, be it mine or anyone else's), and her response was to talk about smoking marijuana and it almost felt like she was telling me I could smoke marijuana in the car. It was really weird. I am going on three years sober off alcohol and drugs. It was really disturbing and I didn't like it one bit. I am from Florida but was planning on spending the summer in Saint Louis. I was hoping for a much better rental experience because in the past I've used Enterprise (since 2011) and never had an issue. I'll be in need of a vehicle while I'm back in Saint Louis for a couple more months due to the hit and run, but I'll definitely be checking different rental companies.

The rental van we had reserved 6 months in advance (and confirmed availability with the rental location 2 weeks prior) was unavailable when we came to pick it up. I waited 45 minutes for someone to finally tell me that the van on their lot was not rentable. I waited 2 hours while they attempted to find a replacement. One manager was rude and condescending and no one was providing updates during the wait. When a van was finally located, it was a 12 passenger instead of 15, it was filthy, windshield was cracked, and the rear camera was duct taped to the van. This delayed the start of our vacation by several hours and we were crammed into a smaller vehicle without enough space for our luggage. Overall a very unsatisfactory experience.
