Friendly front desk cannot make up for severe lack of quality control in the shop: I lost six hours of my life across two separate visits for basic routine maintenance: an oil change, tire rotation, and a single tire pressure sensor replacement. Within hours of leaving the first visit, both my maintenance and tire pressure lights popped back on. When I brought it back, the shop stripped my lug bolts (treating replacing their own mistake as a favor) and couldn't even determine which sensor was faulty, ultimately having to replace all four because they couldn't get it right the first time. The front desk staff is polite, but whatever is happening in the garage lacks basic oversight and quality control. If a shop cannot handle simple, everyday maintenance without damaging hardware and guessing on diagnostics, they shouldn't be working on cars. I will not be returning.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers – Hampton Village #28, specifically from an employee named Cam. I dealt with him on two separate occasions, and both times he was extremely dismissive, dry, and rude. During my first visit, I came in regarding tires that were still covered under warranty. Instead of professionally explaining the situation and helping me understand my options, Cam's attitude made the interaction so uncomfortable that I actually left and returned with my brother so I would have someone with me while trying to resolve the issue. Thankfully, I later worked with Mike, whose customer service was the complete opposite. Mike was patient, courteous, helpful, and professional. He took the time to explain things and treated me the way a customer should be treated. When I returned today, I unfortunately had to deal with Cam again. Although I am the owner of the vehicle, he repeatedly directed his conversation toward the person who accompanied me instead of speaking directly to me. Even paperwork requiring my signature was placed in front of the person with me rather than handed directly to me. At the end of the transaction, Cam literally placed my receipt and paperwork on the counter and walked away, leaving us standing there. He did not review my warranty information, explain my coverage, or provide me with a warranty packet or any information regarding the warranty. There was no professional closing to the transaction. His attitude throughout the entire experience was extremely dismissive and rude. What makes this especially disappointing is that I am not a first-time Dobbs customer. I continue purchasing my tires from Dobbs specifically because I value the security and peace of mind of knowing that if something happens while I am traveling, I have warranty protection and can have the problem addressed. A customer should not have to bring someone with them just to feel comfortable getting their vehicle serviced, nor should the vehicle owner be ignored while an employee communicates with the person accompanying them. Mike deserves recognition for providing excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my experiences with Cam were the complete opposite. This was by far the worst service I have ever received from Dobbs. As a loyal customer who has continued choosing Dobbs for my tires and warranty protection, I expected much better. I sincerely hope management at Hampton Village #28 takes this seriously and addresses it.

I paid for an OD/ID and safety inspection for my 2015 Winnabago Travato. I just bought it out of state in Florida so I need a MO title and such. First I failed the safety inspection due to an inner tie ride on one side. They quoted me an outrageous amout of $4200for a tie rod. The ID OD I assumed was fine. I left after telling them that there was no play in the steering and I believed they were incorrect. I later look at the safety inspection and it says wheel removed for inspection left rear. then in the comment it says that the right front inner tie rod has excessive play. Again i just drove this vehicle 2,000 miles and there is no play in the steering. Whatever I will get it reinspected at a more competent shop. I decide to try and get the title only while waiting for an appointment with a better shop. Then I find that they filled out the ID/OD wrong and put ram promaster instead of winnabago travato. The DMV can not have inconsistent paper work. I try to let Dobbs redeem themselves and see if they will reprint the ID/OD with the proper make and model of the vehicle. I show them the title and my vehicle insurance which validate the VIN and the make and model. The man at the counter checks with the guy in the back and says they can redo it for me. Then asks for the keys. The Winnabago is at the other shop I drove my car. They then refuse to reprint the paper with the correct make and model. \ I want my money back and my time.

I feel like they used to care, but they’ve lost my business by not doing the little things the past several visits. You’re not going to reset the tire pressure sensors after the rotation? Going to skip resetting the oil status? Not even going to take the courtesy to call and tell me my car won’t be done and make me pester the next day, for a simple oil change? Forget it. If you want your job halfassed go to Dobbs.

**Very Disappointing Service** I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of respect for customers’ time. I prescheduled an appointment to have my car serviced at **9:00 a.m.**, expecting that my appointment time would mean the work would begin reasonably close to then. Instead, my car wasn’t even started until **11:00 a.m.**—two full hours after my scheduled appointment. The work finally wasn’t completed until just after **noon**, meaning I spent more than three hours there for something that was supposed to begin at 9:00. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but if a company schedules an appointment for a specific time, customers should be able to reasonably expect that their vehicle will be serviced around that time—or at least be notified if there is going to be a significant delay. My time is valuable, and unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that the company does not respect that. I hope management takes a closer look at how appointments are scheduled and communicated to customers.
