    My check engine light came on so I went in an asked them to run the little diagnostic thing. The guy said “uh, I can give it to you and you can go run it.” I thought he was joking because I don’t know how to use that, but he gave it to me and said “plug it in under the steering wheel, turn the car on, and bring it back when it says to bring it back.” I got through a few steps, but while I was answering questions on the device I got to an impassable screen, none of the buttons would do anything. I took it back in and he asked if it told me to bring it back yet, and I started to tell him that it was asking me questions and I was having problems with it. He said “well you’re supposed to answer them,” and when I said that the buttons weren’t doing anything he called a different guy out to go run it for me. 3/5 because the second guy that came out was helpful and I feel weird giving a bad review just for one single person brushing me off. They weren’t mean or anything, but it was the weirdest experience I’ve ever had at an autozone and I kind of felt like I was just a bother to them. I know next to nothing about cars, so it would’ve been way faster for everyone if someone just helped me to begin with instead of trying to make me figure it out.

    I went in to see if someone could help me get some screws/bolts off the back of my license plates and James went above & beyond!!! He is one of the nicest and most helpful person I’ve come across in customer service in a VERY long time. Sadly, you just don’t see it anymore. So many people that work in retail, medical field, or any other place that works with the public simply just do not care about the person standing in front of them. They just work there to get a paycheck. He was so nice, so helpful, and had me laughing or smiling when I wasn’t in the best of moods that day and to be able to do that you have to be one hell of a person! So, thank you James, you rock! I wanted to take the time to acknowledge James and the recognition he deserves!!! He gets the best customer service and nicest employee for the last decade!!! Give that man a raise!!!
