  I sent my wife to pickup an online order i had placed and upon arrival they presented her with one item of the 2 item order and told her it was a substitute item because the one ordered was out of stock. the substitute item was incorrect for my application and did not meet the definition of substitute. after she alerted 2 autozone employees along with the manager Doc that the part was an incorrect substitution and that she needed assistance locating a correct substitution the manager said he needed to help other customers and walked away from her, this happened many times after about 10 minutes the employees went in the back and found an adequate substitution. then she inquired about where the second item from the order was and they said there was only one item. they were then presented with the order invoice showing 2 items and a part number for the second item needed they then frustratedly went to the back and came out with the wrong item then walked away to help other customers. after they finally returned minutes later she informed them that they gave her the incorrect part and they got even more frustrated and asked her in a condescending way “why would you come to autozone if you don’t know what you actually need” she responded that she was just there to pick up an order and she didn’t have much automotive knowledge. the employees then began to talk amongst themselves making fun of her and belittling her knowledge. after they reluctantly got her the part and she left the store i received a call from her in tears with her telling me about her experience and how rude, disrespectful, and utterly unhelpful the employees and manager were. i have since called the regional office to file a formal complaint and am waiting for a call back from the regional manager to hopefully find a “resolution” for this situation. i would give 0 stars if i could. no person let alone customer should ever be talked to or treated like this. because of this experience i urge anyone who reads this review to choose a different autozone as there are many in the saint charles area with a far better selection and kind helpful staff that represent autozone values.

  The staff were both helpful and amusing. We were in and out quickly, which was almost a shame.
