  Fellas went above and beyond, back door bracket was loose and they tightened it up no big deal. Excellent atmosphere and good change. Wish i got the names but ill shout the whole crew

  I had an extremely concerning experience at Valvoline today. I came in for one reason: an oil change. The technicians drained the oil from my truck, did not add any oil (!!), and then instructed me to start the engine (!!!). Within seconds, my dashboard displayed a warning to the effect of, "Low engine oil pressure. Turn off engine immediately." I immediately brought this to the staff's attention. At that point, they realized what had happened and rushed to correct it by putting oil into my truck. This was a serious mistake that could result in catastrophic engine damage. Thankfully I noticed the warning and shut the vehicle off immediately. An oil change is one of the most basic services an automotive shop performs, and it's difficult to understand how multiple critical steps were missed before instructing a customer to start their engine. They literally had not put any oil into my vehicle; and the cap wasn't even in place. While I appreciate that the staff recognized the mistake and corrected it, this level of oversight is unacceptable and has significantly shaken my confidence in the quality control at this location. I would appreciate being contacted by the owner or regional manager to discuss this incident and the steps being taken to ensure it cannot happen to another customer.

  Waited 30 minutes to get seen to find out that Platte city location didn't have the oil recommended for my car. I've always gone to Barry road location with no problems .
