I trust DOBB’s with my car’s care, recently I had them perform an oil change and emission test, and found my drivers front tire had sidewall damage and recommend the repair. I saw the damage and agreed. My family trust them, if they can’t do it they will tell me.

I work for a non-profit organization in University City and our organization received a used vehicle for volunteers to use. The vehicle needed emission and safety inspections. We came to Dobbs in Olivette last week. Brad was great to work with, had wonderful communication, was very honest about what was needed and what could wait, and extremely helpful in getting the vehicle up to standards and back on the road. I will always recommend my family and friends to visit this Dobbs location.

I asked for 3 things: 1.) Oil Change; 2.) To fix the tire pressure sensor that says there is a problem when an instrument reading indicates no problem exists; 3.) To refill my windshield wiper fluid which was empty.
#2 & #3 were not resolved and I need to make another appointment to have Dobbs look at it again. #3 really made me frustrated, as I asked 2 different people 2x if it was fixed. They assured me it was. I pulled out of your parking lot, put on the windshield wiper fluid and…nothing. I immediately pulled back in your lot and voiced quite strongly how upset I was at your lack of quality control.
The manager blamed the tech; the tech probably blamed the manager but whatever the real story was, it left you looking bad. You need to be better when I go in for 3 things and only 1 was done correctly.
My experience has soured quite a bit over the 15 to 20 years I have been taking my cars into Dobbs.
In the days, when Nick Wade was in charge at the Olivette Dobbs I always felt like they cared and offered service suggestions which not only made sense but also were offered without pressure. Nick was always great with every customer.
Unfortunately things have started to change quite a bit and not for the better. Now I get the sense from the rep that they are simply trying to make a commission (yes I know they don’t get a commission but the feeling is there).
Customer service needs to be brought back to the original Dobbs standards and make customers feel like they can be loyal and enjoy the experience.

We set our appointment up on line and when we arrived you had to order the tires. We were told that they would call us when tires arrived and we could get in right away. Tires arrived and they pushed us to 7 customers later or 5 hour wait. Disappointed on not holding up what was told to us.
