  Very Disappointing Experience with Safelite AutoGlass I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but my experience with Safelite AutoGlass was disappointing. First, I was given a last-minute appointment and made sure to arrive on time. When I got there, I was told that the gas tank needed to be completely full because the calibration required it. My tank was already around 60% full, but I went to get gas as they requested. While I was getting gas, they called asking why I was taking so long because they were waiting for me. I returned as quickly as I could, and they completed the installation in about 30 minutes. The tank was completely full, and as far as I could tell, they didn’t need or use any gas. What bothered me most was the attitude throughout the experience. I felt that I was treated rudely and differently, and I honestly left wondering whether my skin color played a role in how I was treated. I cannot say for certain that it did, but that was the impression I was left with. At the end, they even asked me to give them 5 stars, which felt uncomfortable given the experience I had just had. I’m not someone who normally complains or leaves negative reviews, but customer service matters. I hope Safelite takes this feedback seriously and treats every customer with the same respect and professionalism.

  Excellent service. Easy to book online, even for a same day Saturday morning repair, and the technician Connor was fantastic. He was polite, prompt, and explained the process in detail. The finished repair looks great and was done quickly, without ever having to leave the driveway. While I hope I don’t need windshield repair again any time soon, I know who to call if I do!

  After they canceled two of my appointments they finally came out and the technician broke the clips on the cowl. Rather than informing us or his employer he told no one until we got in the car and drove and heard the most horrifying noise which sounded like the windshield was going to fall out. We called them he finally came back out and admitted he broke it they ordered a new piece which is going to take two weeks. We were headed out the next day for vacation originally they said they would rent us a car and when they found out it was two weeks they declined to rent us a car. Because I will not drive a car that has the windshield rattling all the way from Missouri to Florida with my entire family we had to cancel our vacation. I have written to the Better Business Bureau to the Missouri general attorney after trying to get this settled with three different managers on three different levels. Do not let them fool you there are many more glass companies out there that do a good job and want your business they don't just expect it they want it and they will provide good customer service to keep you coming back unfortunately Safelite is not one of those companies.

  Horrible Do Not Take you car to them! Had a bad leak flooding my truck and they would not fix waited over a week had to use a little silicone at the top to keep truck dry inside! This is the worst experience! Called me less then hour before my repair appointment and made an excuse about not having a bracket so I told him how bad it was and what I had to do! They refused to fix it and even refused the warranty through State Farm! The guy I spoke to was such a rude service manager that I have no idea how he has a job!!

  I suppose I should've left my review sooner when I encountered crappy service. Decided it wasn't worth it until now. I made an appointment for windshield replacement back in May and was met with "you don't have enough gas in your car" for the calibration. Mind you, the reason for needing so much gas in the car was not explained until I had to ask why AT the appointment. I ended up leaving and not getting the windshield replaced. Fast forward to now and I'm being harassed by Safelite collections saying I owe $338 for a windshield replacement I never received from them. They're threatening me with sending the bill to an "external collection agency". You all know full well you did not replace a windshield on my car and you proceeded to bill out as if you did. You will not be getting ANYTHING from me. Unfortunate for this business that I will never be using them or recommending them to anybody.
