Gentleman at the front was very kind and helpful. I dropped my car and picked up in the evening with no issues. Gentleman went over instructions and I felt very comfortable. I also Had to do nothing with my insurance! Safelite took care of everything which I loveddddd!

I had a horrible experience with safelight. It took 3 appointment to get my autoglass repaired. The 1st technician did not bring the correct window. He left my car uncovered and it rained in my car the entire day. My car now has a very musty smell. I have reported this to safelight with no resolve. The second appointment no technician showed up. No one called or texted to say anything. I contacted safelight and was given no explanation I was just told to make another appointment. 3rd appointment technician repaired window had complaints that 1st tech left everything broken down and the windows parts all over the car. Thank goodness he was able to put the windows in. I have contacted them regarding the musty smell in my car and of course no one has contacted me. I have added photos of my car he threw a blanket over my car on a day it was heavily raining. Who blanket is this??.??

I had the pleasure of being serviced by Mr. Riley and he didn’t fall short of providing exceptional customer service. Because of his professional mannerisms and kindred spirit I felt comfortable, seen, heard and overall satisfied with outcome. Thanks Mr. Riley, you’re definitely a major asset to the company and deserve a raise immediately 👊🏾

This location is absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs. I dropped my car at 9am for drop-off service and by 6pm I still have no update and the office is now closed. I call the phone number and only get automated messages. I call the national number and they don’t even know how to contact this place! I am told by the call center that they have to email their own franchise location and they can’t even get in touch with their own service department! At this point I consider my car stolen by Safelite Westport Center because they have given me no updates! How does this happen???

Unethical Pricing Practices.
Had a cracked windshield in my wife’s 2021 Toyota Prius. Planned to pay cash and not file an insurance claim.
Went to Safelite’s website where they advertised $75 off. As I entered the data and it gave me some prices, it didn’t indicate whether or not the $75 discount had been applied.
So, I called and the rep said, “Let me see what I can do. Oh! I have an $85 off discount!” So, the total was around $840.
Before my scheduled appointment, I had shared this with a number of people who encouraged me to contact a local glass installer. Reached out to the Local installer who replaced it for $475. Fantastic!
Here’s where Safelite has earned this 1 Star.
- Went on their website to cancel my appointment.
- In their cancellation process, they flash a screen (see pic) that asks why you are cancelling.
- When you respond the price is too high…
- The app says WAIT, we will give you another $100 off!! (See pic).
Now, when I called them I was looking for their best price.
This is a very shady practice.
