  I would strongly advise anyone considering CarX in Maryland Heights to look elsewhere. I originally brought my car in for rear brake service, including new rear rotors and brake pads. After picking up my vehicle and driving it home, I discovered that one of the rear brake pads was completely missing. This isn't a minor mistake—it's a major safety issue. When you pay a professional shop for brake work, you should be able to trust that all of the components were actually installed. I brought the car back, and they performed the repair a second time. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there. After getting my vehicle back again, it became apparent that they had installed a faulty rotor. I was assured that everything had been thoroughly inspected and that the vehicle had been test-driven before being returned to me. Frankly, I find that very hard to believe. Within minutes of leaving the shop, the car was making extremely loud grinding noises and sounds that no properly repaired vehicle should be making. For a third time, CarX had my vehicle for essentially an entire day. They ended up replacing the rear rotors and brake pads again. Think about that for a moment—they had to redo the same brake job multiple times because of issues caused by their own work. What really pushed this experience from frustrating to unacceptable was how it was handled afterward. When I asked about some sort of refund, discount, or compensation for the inconvenience, lost time, repeated trips, and serious safety concerns, I was told there was nothing they could do. Instead, I was told I should be happy because they had "upgraded" my rotors and brake pads. It's obvious they knew there was a significant issue because Bob, a local Market Manager from Corporate, personally called me to discuss the situation. At first, he seemed concerned and willing to help. However, the moment I mentioned that I felt some sort of refund or discount was warranted, his attitude changed completely. He immediately became defensive and argumentative, repeatedly saying, "We did the right thing and fixed your brakes!" Let's be clear: they didn't "fix my brakes" as a goodwill gesture. They corrected their own negligent work—twice. Bob insisted that none of this was CarX's fault and told me he needed to speak with his boss before getting back to me. He promised he would call me later that day or the following day. It's now been five days, and I haven't heard a word. To make matters worse, when I try calling him now, my calls go straight to voicemail after the first ring. Between the missing brake pad, the faulty rotor, three separate visits to correct the same brake job, the complete lack of accountability, and the poor response from corporate management, I cannot recommend CarX in Maryland Heights. Based on my experience with both the shop and corporate leadership, I would personally avoid CarX altogether. Bottom line: If a shop can return a vehicle missing a brake pad, then return it again with a faulty rotor, and still refuse to take responsibility for the inconvenience and safety concerns they caused, that's not a business that has earned my trust.

  Moved to Maryland Heights and needed a new place for car safety ans emissions. CAR X is the place to go. Dropped my car off night before and they were done by 9am the next day.

  The bald guy running this shop does not have properly, Brain I believe his name is. This is my second time him being flat out rude to me. First time I made an appointment for an oil change only for him to have an attitude and act like I never made the appointment. This time I wanted to get a tire checked, something very minor. He kept saying on the phone to just drop it off...which I didn't feel comfortable with, so I made an appointment online only for him to act like a child pretty much cut me off before I could walk in the door saying they don't go off online appointments (so turn the online service off than) and belittled me and wouldn't even let let tell him what was wrong with my vehicle. Everytime I tried to talk he just raised his voice speaking over me. I have been coming to this location for over 15 years. They just list a dedicated customer. If you don't know how to speak to people with respect than work in a different profession!!!!
