- MMMagdaleena MbadhiJul 20, 20261.0This was the worst car rental experience I've had. I reserved a car 3 days in advance, but when I arrived to pick it up, I was told there were no cars available. I was asked to go home and wait for a phone call once a car became available. I did not get a call back, and I called about 20 minutes before closing to ask for an update. The guy who answered was extremely rude to me, did not provide any clear information, and ended the call while I was still trying to understand the situation. I am missing an important meeting that required me to leave St. Louis at 5:00 a.m. the next morning. I had explained the urgency of my travel plans when I first spoke with them, and they assured me they would call me by 6pm and have something ready for me. I also lost money on a non-refundable hotel reservation for this trip. By the time I realized that no car was going to be provided, it was already around 6:00 p.m., leaving me with no realistic opportunity to rent a car elsewhere in time. It's one thing to arrive and have a shortage of cars, but to lie to me instead of being honest, as that was still in the afternoon, I could've tried to book a car elsewhere. But you lied, and when I called you, you were extremely rude to me and hung up on me as I was trying to understand the situation; that was uncalled for. And this was not a luxury trip I had!!
