Just purchased my new Volvo yesterday. Brandan Spraul was a wonderful salesperson to deal with. The whole experience was great! A beautiful dealership, fair negotiations, and non-stressful car-buying experience. I highly recommend Brandan and West County Volvo in St Louis!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best car-buying experience I’ve ever had! From the moment I stepped onto the lot at West County Volvo in Manchester, everything was exceptional. My salesperson, Gus, was absolutely amazing—kind, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. PHENOMENAL! He answered every question and made the entire process easy and comfortable. I live an hour and a half away, so much of the process was handled over the phone. When I arrived to pick up my new car, everything was ready to go and the process was incredibly quick and efficient. The manager had everything handled, and the big red bow on my car was the icing on the cake! I’ve bought many cars over the years, and this was hands-down the best experience I’ve ever had. I will always go here first. Period. Highly recommend Gus and the entire team!

Hope this isn’t too long. We weren’t sure what kind of car we wanted yet and had just begun our search. Went to the Volvo dealership on a Sunday. We like to look at cars without dealing with sales people. Tom was there. He offered to help, but left us alone to look. A little later, he asked if we wanted to drive one of the cars we were interested in. So we did. Gave him our names and numbers. On Tuesday, we went to other dealership and test drove other models. Came back to Volvo and drove the actual car we interested in. Tom would text us but was never pushy. Just answered our questions. Finally decided on the Volvo, so made an appointment to buy it. The process was quick and easy. When it was time for Tom to give me lessons on how everything works, he was very patient. Never once saw him roll his eyes in frustration. (I am very technologically challenged.) I have always hated the car buying process but this whole experience was great. Won’t hesitate recommending Volvo (and especially Tom) to friends and family. Haven’t driven the car enough to give a review of the car itself yet.

I hate buying cars, but West County Volvo actually made it easy, thanks mostly to my salesperson, Gus. This guy really knows his stuff. He walked me through every trim and feature without any of the usual sales pressure or confusing jargon. Just straightforward, helpful, and honestly kind of fun to talk to. No pushy tactics, no runaround, just a genuinely good experience. If you're shopping for a Volvo, ask for Gus. You won't regret it!

Horrible experience. Sales manager Sam was extremely disrespectful and implied that discussing unsatisfactory and dangerous issues with me was a waste of time because he wasn’t making money. This was not a minor issue I was complaining about, but a potentially major safety issue. Based on what I learned about this suspension issue the car wasn’t safe to drive the second I pulled off the lot. I didn’t realize buying a car from these people could have been such a risk. Two months after purchase, the car is having major suspension problems—bad lower control arms, worn bushings, and excessive play on both sides. Two independent mechanics provided different opinions, both agreed the car should never have passed safety inspection and was extremely unsafe to drive. According to two different independent mechanics the issues had been occurring over a longer period than I’ve owned the car (two months) and also before I drove it (5-6k miles), yet the used car they sold me somehow passed safety inspection. One of my mechanics failed the safety inspection 2 months after Volvo west county passed it. I am thankful to have nothing gone seriously wrong and thankful to not have suffered major injuries before taking it to an independent mechanic shop that cares about their customers safety and can properly inspect and fix cars. Also brand new tires when purchased now extremely worn as a direct result of their negligence and the suspension issue. I will never take my car here again. I will never recommend this company. I will never step foot in this establishment. They wouldn’t have cared if I had been badly injured; they’d rather make a couple of bucks than ensure safety for their customers. Please take your business elsewhere. This place is not worth the major risk.
