I brought my pilot in for warranty work, the service department has been terrible. I told them the issue, its the same issue they claimed to have fixed previously. I got an appointment for a Saturday around 1. I have an hour drive each way. Got there and they told me they couldn't do a diagnostic until Monday. The service manager said he couldn't do anything for me and that its just how the system is......I talked to some one in the sales department about this issue, he claimed to have emailed the service director about the issue and swore I would be helped. Never heard from anyone. So I was out a couple hours and gas money and a broke Honda. never going back.

I recently purchased a 2026 Honda CR-V from this dealership, and I would like to share my experience.
When I first arrived, I told the staff that I was looking to buy an SUV. Since no salesperson was immediately available, I waited for a few minutes until Stephanie came to help me. She was friendly, professional, and patient throughout the entire process.
I also wanted to trade in my 2010 Chevrolet Equinox. Stephanie asked for my keys so the vehicle could be inspected by the sales manager. I requested that they wait until after the test drive because I wanted to explain the repairs and maintenance I had done on my vehicle.
I first test drove the black Honda CR-V Hybrid, then another 2026 Honda CR-V in gray, which I liked even more. After that, the manager inspected my trade-in. Unfortunately, I felt that he was only focused on the problems with my vehicle and was not interested in the many repairs and maintenance I had invested in over the years.
The initial trade-in offer of $750 was far below what I considered fair. After several discussions, it was increased to $1,500 and then to $2,000. I also negotiated the price of the new vehicle. At first, I was told that no discount was possible because it was set by Honda. However, after speaking with another manager, they agreed to reduce the vehicle price by $850. I also declined several optional protection packages and accessories, and they respected my decision by removing them from the final price.
The entire process took several hours, from around 11:00 a.m. until about 3:00 p.m., including test drives, negotiations, financing, paperwork, and delivery.
Overall, I appreciate Stephanie's professionalism, patience, and respectful attitude. She worked hard to help reach an agreement, and I would rate her 10 out of 10 for customer service. My only disappointment was the very low initial trade-in offer and the amount of time required to complete the purchase.
In the end, we reached an agreement that satisfied both sides, and I left with my new Honda. Thank you to Stephanie for her excellent service.
I purchased my new vehicle from Lee's Summit Honda for a few reasons. After contacting several Honda dealerships in the local area Lee's Summit Honda was quick to respond to my inquiries with all the information I requested.
I knew the price of two vehicles I was interested in before I even stepped on the lot. Not only did Lee's Summit Honda quote me the best price for my chosen vehicle they matched the offer I received from the company I planned to sell my old vehicle which created added convenience that I valued.
The team at Lee's Summit Honda made my car purchase experience smooth and efficient.
To illustrate the efficiency of my experience with Lee's Summit Honda to any future readers of this review, I reached out to the dealership on 06/15/2026 for my initial request to test drive a vehicle I that scheduled on 06/20/2026. In those days upcoming to my appointment I received quotes from LS Honda and area dealerships to compare prices. 06/20/2026 I finalized my purchase. 06/23/2026 took ownership of my new vehicle. 06/25/2026 registered my new vehicle with the DMV.
Thank you to Mike, Phil, John an Piper for making what can be a stressful and complicated process so simple

I called ahead of time to verify my 2010 Honda Fit would be covered under Honda's lifetime seat belt warranty since my driver side seat belt no longer locks if pulled quickly. I was told that there is a $100 inspection fee that would be waived if the seat belt issue is a warranty item and the seat belt would be repaired under warranty. After the inspection I was told that Honda has changed the warranty to be 15 years and I was 6 months past the warranty period. I was also recommended to do a brake fluid service, fuel induction service and alignment as part of the inspection. I had my brakes replaced and fluid serviced a year/10,000 miles ago and an alignment two weeks ago after replacing the suspension. I was told the recommendations are based on maintenance intervals so they recommended them because these were some elsewhere and not in their service history records. Very frustrating that I wasted $100 and two hours when the seatbelt was no longer under warranty anyways and the recommendations were based on a schedule rather than actually checking if the services were needed.

I went in to have a flat fixed as my tire was losing air. The car is a 2025 which I bought less than a year ago. The tires have 7,000 mi on them. The technician attempted to patch the tire but it would not hold air. The hole was right in the center of the tread and they tried to use one of those push-in string patches. Rather than pay the price of a new tire because it could not be repaired, I elected to take the tire to a tire shop and get their opinion. The tire shop after reviewing the tire and being in shock that the dealership tried to patch it that way, explained that you have to use a patch plug from the inside on those types of tires. That is what the tire industry recommends. Because it had been attempted to be patched with a string patch from the outside, they could not repair the tire and it was a loss. I did contact the manager, and was basically told that the manager had been there for 20 years and had never heard of such a thing. The string patch is typically how they patch all holes in tires. They would have refunded what I paid for the service that day, however, there was no charge because they did not fix the tire. I am at least happy about that. I am not happy that Honda did not have a clear understanding of what tire industry standards are for patching those types of tires. So either, the tire shop is misleading me, of which I have dealt with that tire shop for 20 years and have never had any problems with them or their warranties. Or Honda needs to study the tire industry standards for patching tires. Given the rating reviews I've seen on this particular Honda dealership, I have to admit I am disappointed. I don't think I will be visiting this store again. So, $250 later, I will have a tire on my truck with a warranty from a reputable tire shop.
