Call the Wentzville store and they let me know it would take a few days to get me in so he transferred me the Lake St. Louis store and they were able to get in soon.
Great experience at Dobbs in Lake Saint Louis! I brought my vehicle in for the emissions and safety inspection, and everything was quick and easy. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Brian helped me out and was especially friendly and great to work with. Really appreciated the excellent customer service. Definitely recommend this location!
Dropped my van off at 8:00 in the morning with an appointment set several days in advance. I ended up calling at 4:30 and it was still not done but assured I could pick it up at 5:00. I went in at 5:00 and waited another 45 minutes for it to be completed. This was all for a State Safety inspection, Emissions and to put the spare tire onto the rear drivers side.

The sales person acted like He was Doing me a favor by selling me $500 with the tires. He was rude and Disrespectful. He did not greet me. He did not greet the other women that were in there although when a guy walked in he did he say how you doing, man. They made some mistakes and instead of apologizing, he rolled his eyes when I pointed it Out. He told me something would take five minutes after 15 minutes. I walked up to the counter and stood there while I was waiting for him to finish when he was doing he looked at me and said.WHAT! I said what do you mean what he said you’re staring at me. I explained I was just trying to check on the progress. It went on like that.

We dropped our car off the night before for a 9:00 AM appointment and expected to hear from them once the service was completed or if there were any issues. Instead, we heard absolutely nothing all day. When we called at 3:00 PM for an update, it took approximately 10 minutes for them to even locate our vehicle and find the service ticket.
What was especially frustrating was that, after having our car all day, we were then told about multiple additional services they recommended. If these services were identified during the day, there was no reason we couldn’t have been contacted earlier rather than having to call them ourselves at 3:00 PM.
We asked to speak with a manager, and when he called us back, we explained our concerns. Rather than apologizing or acknowledging the lack of communication and customer service, he gave us multiple excuses about being short-staffed. To make matters worse, his tone was quite rude and dismissive.
Being short-staffed may explain a delay, but it does not excuse poor communication or the way a customer is treated when they bring a legitimate concern to management. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and the manager’s response left us extremely disappointed. We expected much better customer service and will think twice before returning.
