  This place deserves a five-star rating—first for its organization and cleanliness, and second for the clean, pleasantly scented restrooms and shower facilities. And let’s not forget the most important point: the price of diesel here is lower than at some other truck stops. However, there is one drawback: when leaving the station heading north, you have to exit onto the southbound road, make a U-turn, and then get back onto the northbound road.

  Store is clean neat, and organized Clean bathroom, clean shower The lafy at the cashiers is so pleasant and sociable.... Will recommended this truck stop for 34 hour reset.

  Usually stop here from visiting family in Smithville. This last visit the cashiers weren’t very friendly. Acted like customers were a burden to wait on. I had a free drink coming and gave her the code and she said doesn’t work. Didn’t even try to help with why it didn’t work!

  I’ve been I pilot rewards member I have been a Pilot Rewards member for over 4 years, and I’ve always been happy with the excellent customer service I’ve received at Pilot locations. Unfortunately, my experience at this location was very disappointing. I wanted a coffee with whole milk, but I was told they were out of it and that there was nothing they could do. I politely mentioned that I knew there was whole milk in the refrigerator, and that at other Pilot locations, employees have opened a new container for customers when the coffee station runs out. The cashier spoke with the manager, but I was told that they don’t do that at this location. I understand that stores may have different procedures, but the lack of willingness to help was frustrating and not what I’ve come to expect from Pilot. It wasn’t the fact that they were out of milk—it was the poor customer service and unwillingness to find a simple solution. As a loyal Pilot Rewards member for more than four years, I expected a much better customer experience. I hope this feedback helps improve customer service at this location so that future customers receive the level of care Pilot is known for.
