  I had Tony and James and one other I didn't catch the name of doing my car. Tony was very friendly and I liked him alot. He wasn't to pushy and he was helpful. Didn't really talk to James or the other one but they did a good job.

  They were having a day from hell. Apparently they started the day short handed and opened an hour late. After that a number of vehicles had multiple services. To make a long story short I waited in line for one full hour. Fortunately the employees had me change lines or it would have taken even longer. Once they got me in the bay they did their usual excellent work. I am going to this length to give a shoutout to the manager who was flexible and turned what could have been extremely bad into something understandable. I have used Valvoline many times in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks for the opportunity to review. Sorry if I got a bit long winded.

  Taylor has great customer service, great communication and was a huge help with an issue I was having answering my questions. Will ask for him again with my other autos I Bri g to you all.

  Very disappointed experience-issue still not resolved. Went in for oil change and tire rotation.During service, a lug nut stud was broken. Manager told me the stud was faulty and instructed me to take my vehicle to dealership to have them repair under my warranty. But if it wasn’t covered he would take responsibility. Dealership said it wasn’t covered and based on the appearance of the damage it looked like the stud had been over-torqued. I have several times reached out to Valvoline who then instructed me to contact their mechanic, who will not begin work until paid up front. He contacted Valvoline’s manager and told him this. A claim was filed and I was told a district manager would be calling me back and here now a week since damage no response. I now have an appointment scheduled with a mechanic and cost quoted as $180. I hope Valvoline will take responsibility for this and reimburse me for repair cost. Based on how this situation has been handled so far, I cannot recommend this location.

  This review is for a technician by the name of Brian at the Valvoline on Boardwalk near KCI airport. Wanted to make sure that I had the correct location so that he receives these comments. I dropped off family at the airport and my car started making a clunking, sputtering sound. I heard about Valvoline from my daughter so I put in Valvoline near me. The boardwalk location came up. Went there and there was a line. So my car is embarrassing me acting like it can't take waiting in line! Brian(asked him his name later on) comes over and asked...what brings you in today?...I tell him that my car is giving me trouble. He tells me not to worry that he'll get me taken care of. After he parts the sea of cars I move up in line and after the car in front of me is done he tells me to pull in. He checks my car, reassures me that I have oil and says, hang on I'll put it on the computer. He does that, tells me the one of the cylinders is not working. Let's me know that they don't do that kind of work there but that I will make it home, and not to worry! Because of his care, kindness and know-how I left Valvoline with peace of mind, went grocery shopping and made it home safely! He went above and beyond and it put my nerves to rest and made tje rest of my day! Thank you Brian! And thank you to whoever hired him!
