    Rented a SIXT car to attend a FIFA WC match in Kansas City and had the best experience with them. Got to the desk and Jessica was fast, friendly, and helpful. She took OFF some rental add-ons that she recognized we wouldn’t need, and instead use the difference to bump us up an even nicer vehicle rental. They’re known for their BMWs and we spent the trip very comfortable in one of their M2s. Pristine cleanliness; you’d have thought it just came off the truck. Rental process was quick, return process was easy as pie. Would gladly rent through SIXT again Great service, friendly, helpful, fast, and clean. All around flawless experience; ZERO complaints.

    This company is very shady indeed. We set it up to get our car 3 months in advance. We checked online to make sure we didn't actually need a credit card. Online it said we didn't not need one. My husband called to double check and when we came in no shock. The NEEDED a credit card. Trip already planned car ALREADY booked and paid for but didn't have a credit card. The guy at the front desk also said this happens a lot because of what their website says you don't need a credit card. So the guy at the front desk said he could cancel the car for us and we would get an email saying our car was canceled and that we would be getting a refund. Later after we went home and checked a several hours later it car wasn't canceled and the money wouldn't be coming back to your account. We didn't have time to call and talk to someone for the 3rd time we had to leave for our trip. A couple days later my husband called and talked and talk to a different person and he told us our car wasn't canceled and he was thankful able to help us ACTUALLY cancel it. That's BS that the guy at the front desk didn't do anything and he was hoping because we were busy with our trip that we wouldn't have time to call and make things right. This company has 2 star rating for a reason. They are a very back handed shady company. They were trying to rip us off. When we came in to get the car they saw we had kids and they STILL tried to scam us. If you want to be ripped off and scammed sixt is for you.

    Terrible experience from start to finish. When we picked up our rental car, the fuel tank was essentially empty. The employee told us it had been documented on our rental agreement and assured us we would be reimbursed after filling it up. We also prepaid for the fuel option so we could return the car without refueling. Despite contacting customer service multiple times, we still have not received the reimbursement. Instead of resolving the issue, we were told to email a different department and explain the entire situation all over again. After too much back-and-forth, they’re now saying they need a gas receipt—something no one mentioned when we picked up the vehicle. We were led to believe everything had already been documented and would be handled without any issues. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and frustrating claims process have made this an experience I won’t repeat. This is exactly why the larger, more established rental companies continue to earn customers’ trust. I won’t be renting from Sixt again. I don’t normally waste my time to leave reviews, but the total lack of customer service has me irritated.

    Our pick-up experience was absolutely stellar, largely thanks to Olivier - the exceptional representative who assisted us. Since it was our very first time renting with SIXT, we weren't entirely sure what to expect, but he made the entire process incredibly smooth, straightforward, and welcoming. From the moment we walked up, he was extremely friendly and personable, immediately putting us at ease. He was highly engaging - when we asked about the background of the company, he happily shared some fascinating history about SIXT, which was a wonderful, unexpected touch that showed he really cares about his work. When walking us through the rental details, he did offer a few upgrade options, but it was done in a completely low-pressure, friendly manner. He succinctly covered the actual benefits of the upsells without making us feel pushed or uncomfortable, which we deeply appreciated. Overall, Olivier was just a genuinely great guy who went above and beyond to give us a fantastic first impression of SIXT. We couldn't be happier with the service!

From the very beginning of my rental experience, Tobias demonstrated kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. I encountered complications during the rental process due to issues with my status not matching correctly in the system. Rather than treating the situation as just another problem to resolve, Tobias took the time to listen, understand the circumstances, and work through the issue with patience and professionalism. What stood out most was his attentiveness regarding my broken arm. Tobias immediately recognized that my injury could impact my ability to drive comfortably and safely.
