  Just had a repair done,ROCK CHIP I SUPPOSE, any how it looks a 100 times worse then before repair. To top this off technician left the resins on windshield when he left. He was about a friendly as a mean dog. Called customer service and was told in other words, tough luck. You had to look hard to see but now can stand back 20 feet or so and when sitting in pickup it sticks out like a sore. WORD TO THE WISE (CALL SOME ONE ELSE FOR GLASS REPAIR)

  Just had my windshield replaced a little over a year ago. The windshield was not installed properly and I took it in to see if the warranty would cover the damage (a slow crack from the far left side of window all the way across the windshield. The manager was to review and offer a discount. The receptionist left me a message that they would give a $100 discount $1100 dollars for a new one. I tried calling back at least 5x’s no one answered. I was transferred to customer service and they tried to call and email them. No one ever called me back. The whole recalibration that is being charged for these older vehicles is unnecessary. Do yourself a favor and find a business that wants to help you solve the issue at a reasonable price.

  I would have given them 5 stars, but because they did not have anyone to work on my car for my 7 AM appointment, that I made two weeks in advance. There was no one in the shop until almost 8. They were able to get it done in the quoted time, so that actually worked out. They told me that they don't get notified till the night before if they will have an early appointment, so they can schedule someone. This did not ring true since they had to order the windshield and it was there, so don't tell me that they didn't know I was coming at 7. And if that is the case, why does the website allow you to make an appointment at 7 if the shop doesn't open till 8?

  I have deleted a prior review 1 star review to leave this instead. Make them document your pre-authorization if your insurance requires it. I had some issues with a lack or pre-authorization prior to a repair that resulted in SafeLite charging me when my insurance refused to pay. The charge from May 2026 was finally taken care of in August 2026, which I do appreciate. But communication was poor, and I had to be pretty insistent to get the issue resolved. The repair itself has been fine, but the process was an issue.

  Booking online was very easy. My insurance covered most of the charges. We had a road warrior technician who installed the window. Daniel did an excellent job and was very responsive in his communication with us when he would arrive. He calibrated the. Vision system and it works perfectly. Great service! Highly recommend.
